Jesus Christ, I knew already being so familiar with F1, but still, seeing so many settings on the steering wheel and available to the player makes you really appreciate how superhuman those F1 drivers are. Changing all those settings, being aware of their surroundings, driving over 200Km/h on average and having to bear G-Forces all at the same time is impressive

Now that you've driven the most realistic version of the 2021 car, how does the car differ from Codies' version?

it's honestly a huge difference. I did my first race around Spa yesterday and then some hotlaps around Hungary trying to match this years pole time. You can feel that the car actually produces downforce, especially if you change the downforce trim. You can really push that car into high speed corners, where in F1 2021 I would immediately spin going in with that speed. I'd say Pouhon in the 2nd sector of Spa was the real eye opener for me, if you let it rev out in 7th gear it's just a minimal lift and you throw it in there, even with the medium downforce setup. I was really dripping sweat after driving for around 2 hours haha

@@naceurseifeddine7181 it‘s made like that so a broader audience can play it…the f1 game makes its lap time on the straights and being much easier to drive through the corners😅 it‘s much more physically challenging to drive the w12 in iracing even though you‘re still just turning a wheel without all the forces

@@12tak12 im fully aware of that, but u gotta agree that code masters Devs arent putting any efforts into the game, there are so many things they should've fixed years ago, i dont even know where to start.. -unrealistic track limits -unrealistic car performance -unrealistic tracks(not lazer scanned) -a very bad penalty system -(...) Most of these are pretty ez for the devs to fix, but they're too lazy to do their job and make the "OfFiCial F1 gAmE" worth the 60€ we payed em for it 🤷‍♂️🤮

Note to you all, the F meter up in the left corner, that the force feedback clipping meter, it should only go to red in the absolutely most grip situation. Not in every corner.. This will reduce the feeling you get from the sim. Lower your feedback in game to get a better feel under load.

@challengerJB17 Yeah, I plan on trying that in the future. But J wanna get better at driving yet, I still struggle a lot to finish 50% races with no assists, and it's mu benchmark so I'm hopefully ready to race without ruining anyones race. I throw some rookie class raceroom in the mix from time to time, but still struggle a lot. Yet I'm slowly getting better, I'll be there in some time hehe

I got this car and despite feeling 1000 times better than the F1 2021 game, I feel that it doesn't give you the feel of driving a real car like other cars in iRacing. It feels too disconnected, like flying on track without any problem. When you check the lap times, you feel like it shouldn't be this easy to drive an F1 car. Geez, even the F2 car is harder to drive, in my opinion.

One of the reasons i stopped playing the F1 game was because it was to arcady to me. I always wished to get a real simulation, because let's be honest, if we play those games we want it to be as real as possible right?
