This is insane!! We hit insanely hard and have a ridiculously amount of sustain for a 1 bar pvp build - it isn't even funny! This eso nightblade pvp build uses 1 bar to kill, sustain and survive making it a great class to learn on. It truly feels how a nightblade should - a true assassin! It is a blast to play and works in Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds and Duels.

Dual wield = slightly more damage. 2h better sustain. Very close though. Rotation is usually heavy attack whilst cloaked into a concealed weapon then LA concealed weapon and execute roll dodge. You add an ultimate instead.

you can also equip a bow in you off hand and put points in bow skills passive when you have a bow equipped, gives you extra crit

Yeah you can but you lose pen which is a net loss typically but an option. Bow takes main hand and off hand.

I open with a heavy attack into a spamable. I then light attack spamabale then use execute and roll dodge (cancels the animation and makes skill hit faster and you avoid incoming damage).

@@Unified-Gaming I saw!! So helpful!! I'm disabled so bar swapping was always hard for me, then trying to learn pvp I found it even more difficult due to server lag... I really benefit from oakensoul builds and it can be really difficult to find ones for pvp, let alone ones that seem approachable to beginners. I'm gonna try a bunch of these builds, thank you so much!

Where are you getting the Major buff/debuff for the second 5-pc bonus? or is the Oakensoul "applying" a major buff/defuff?

Nightblade has a passive dark veil I think it is called. Basically when you do damage with specific skills you gain major resolve. This procs the set even though oaken provides this and our spamable procs this. The off balance is a minor debuff with the pen too so also procs that too when in combat.

Dual wield would have similar damage but less sustain after kills. Sword and shield would have more defence and less damage. Both would work with dual wield being more viable damage wise than sword and shield.

Would bloodthirsty actually be that useful as players have smaller health pools than mobs so you wouldn't make use out of it fully?

Yes and no..it's health %. Below 70% hp approx in pvp bloodthirsty helps giving more bonus than the infused difference. That said, executes are so powerful in pvp the bonus isn't always needed. So in short yes it'd help killing power but not by much.

I use it in bgs but have used it in cyrodiil. I'd say it is better suited for bgs as has no snare removal but you can play it in there with good movement like I do on stream.

A little lost, says you have 5 pieces of stygian but all I see is the weapon, bracers and the two accesory pieces which would be 4/5 pieces for the set unless I'm missing something here.

Do you need 2 heals on a 1 bar build? You talk about Vigor but don't talk about Shrewd Offering at all, other than to slot it.

Shrewd is the oh no heal. Vigor is the heal over time which helps keep us topped up and we can stack vigor with burst heal spam if we need huge healing which does happen. It also gives armour.

It is more likely you are too aggressive or not managing your buffs/resources. Movement is key for this. There is a ganker version on the channel you may like.

Depends on the target really. If you're on a gank build you can gank around 25-30k hp but anyone who is buffed or reacts fast doesn't die to that easily unless you use an ult. I prefer more flat damage.

I doubt this actually holds up outside of bullying pve squishies. Dk, warden and sorc are sooo overtuned in the current tank meta that even 38k pen is being tanked and healed through. Guess if you can make it work good on ya.

Defence is in many forms. Dk is huge burst heals. Sorcs is huge shields and warden is large heal with large hots. The reality is that burst heals are 1.5x spamable damage which is the power they give them. This means if somone just goes defensive you'd never be able to kill them in a 1v1 regardless of class. This is the issue I see. I've had 1v1s against sea serpent wardens using the meta maras, sea serpent, clever alch, balorgh and they couldn't kill me on this build and me them. It was because I went defensive when low so did they. That is the state of pvp currently. Damage cannot bypass undeath and defensive play presently.

@@Unified-Gaming no one class should have 9k dmg, 35k resist and 26k pen with 40k hps and zero sacrifice to hit those numbers. The class kits are completely unbalanced. Nothing to do with any single ability.

Nightblades suck to learn I absolutely hate them. I've tried Stam/Mag and all the builds said to be the best. I die constantly seldom if ever get a kill and stealth is a joke for me, I use it and players come from across the map right to me every time finding me with no issues. I don't know how anyone plays them.

It can be hard. My mains a Stam nb since launch and my 2nd alt is a mag nb. They've nerfed stealth into the ground. I get kills decently but usually get 3 times more assists. Don't believe what anyone says, nb's have been heavily nerfed since launch. That said they're still powerful and viable if played right. My biggest issue is always sustain.

I've fought 1 v X players in this and don't die. People who die to 1v X often get caught out and forget buffs or healing. The build is a solid set of stats that help people go.from there. A build doesn't make you able to 1 v x - there is skill to it as well as luck finding pve players or inexperienced pvp ones.

@Prionyx the build is aimed at newer players who want something that is easy to use but effective. What I've said is that it won't have the same power as a 2 bar + mythic. That is clearly obvious. As for 1vX and dieing, a lot of that comes down to skill and how you play not the build. If you're so confident in your build why not make a build video? Why not make content and share stuff instead of comment on others? As for dueling and fighting, I have no issues myself. You forget that if a player doesn't want to die then there isn't much another can do in a 1v1. Healing is simply too high. Most 1 v 1 end in stale mates because anyone decent would stop attacking at 60-50% hp, heal and roll. That again is pretty obvious.

I would say sea serpent is significantly stronger. This mythic in all honesty is a utility mythic - it gives typical buffs like armour and damage with minor courage and berserk. You give up a lot of utility running this.

The only useful skill is the Assassins blade. Sets are still good though, I’m not saying they are bad just that oakensoul doesn’t perform as it does in the video

I use the build still and have no issues on PC EU and also on PC NA. It could be you're targeting people who are buffed fully or have 30-35k+ hp which will always be a challenge. The other thing is you need to combo well and animation cancel with roll dodge skills etc. as you move around them.

Due to physical and mental disabilities I have never had the ability to effectively bar swap in PvE or PvP. When Oakensoul was released it was almost like they were thinking about me when they created it. I am still terrible at PvP but I have a lot more fun now that I am not missing out on backbar buffs. Normally I let these one bar critics slide but the special needs comment hits close to home for me. Yeah…some of us need a crutch…I guess that makes you feel strong to criticize us for it. I may be a terrible player…you are a terrible person. Get yourself sorted mate.

I agree that the item was made with accessibility in mind. What's the issue if someone can use an item that gets around 90% a typical builds power with a 2 bar mythic being 110% standard build power? It's not like they're at a disadvantage using a 2 bar setup or 2 bar with mythic. It seems to me like many players want it to be hard for hard sake and to be able to stomp on people not as good. I however prefer MORE people doing pvp and more balanced and close fights. Makes it more engaging and rewarding when you win vs just nuking people.
