One of the BEST ways I've ever found to describe metal is intensity. Most associate it with anger, that's just the easiest to resonate with. I'd argue the reason this works so well is that intensity, but it's joy.

Babymetal has ALWAYS had a harsh vocalist in their band. Su has done several screams/growls herself as well. They've also had a support person doing it many times by the name of Youda Takeru and he goes by Takemetal. Many times, it is one of the instrumentalists, the Kami Band, that supports Baby Metal. They've had a whole host of former members. Megitsune had a growl/screech done by the instrumentalists.

Epilepsy fact, there are specific repetition frequencies that set it off, so they’ll either dim flashing sequences or make sure they’re spaced out enough to not trigger it (Japan started doing it way earlier than we did because of that Pokemon fiasco). There are disability consultants who help video games and music videos etc etc do it and they have guidelines to help, so if you see flashing lights in an industry production it’s *usually* epilepsy safe now

Interesting comparisson Babymetal and Electric Callboy are like Christmas and Easter having a Baby. Its not so far off. Many people didn't realize how complicated this track is. It sounds simple at first, but if you start to parse which element comes right now from which babd the trouble starts. At first they have distinctive elements but later Babymezals whoo- whoo and "counting" therevis suddenly Momo in several places

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 (Japan time) . Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. That was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍

Yes, it was insane! I just saw them perform together at FOX_FEST in Japan. BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy gave us the happiest and the most fun five minutes of our lives. Babymetal's live shows are a mass of strobe lights, flickering video displays, and lasers, so you can't be sensitive to that sort of thing if you want to see them. I was at FOX_FEST last weekend where they performed this live twice and it went unbelievably hard. The crowd just went nuts for it. This song is going to be massive for both groups. I hope they see how successful it is and decide to collaborate more. Something like a Babymetal X EC EP would be amazing.
