I think the problem was not the food or the house but the fact that he was having a hard time at work and she wasn't sensitive to it. I guess she's not clairvoyant either sha. Communication is key sha.

Dede is an only child and young. That's the point of the show focusing on their journey as newlyweds. The oneness isn't instant. Each day, you grow as one. You learn to learn one another, you learn your give and takes, etc.

I love this episode. Tee and Dede have the young professional type of love. It is not about feminism or tradition or whatever. They had an understanding where everyone could fend for himself or fend for the other if they could. You look after your family and loved ones because you love them. You care about if they have eaten or if their environment is clean because you love them not because you are a woman and it is your role. Tee's mum and Dede's dad rightfully explained that to them. Dede is no longer alone and no longer has to fend just for herself and she learned that. When you love people they become part of your worries just as they become your joy. Tee didnt become a master. He didnt gain a mum or slave but he has the right to expect someone who claims to love him to take care of him. It takes time to adjust from being alone to being together. The comments here worry me. By getting married, you do not acquire a carer and a woman does not cease to exist as a separate being please. The things people do for each other in a marriage they do out of love not out of compulsion or duty.

This episode really brought out people’s feminist side... Been through the comment section, saw some good comments and not so good ones too.. My opinion, we both are human and we need support everytime considering he’s a good man same with the wife, she should try to be understanding too When her dad came around she asked ‘are u sure ure bot hungry?? But the husband came home frm work and said he’ll be fine without food but she went ‘ok’ Yall better not come for me cos speech is free hence my opinion.... They’re cute Couple infact couple goals

AS a woman how would you feel if your husband pushes his sole responsibilities such as making financial provision, security for the home on your shoulders,he doesn't buy or give you gifts,no Brazilian hair, no latest feminine clothings,? So why should a good and reasonable woman push the responsibilities of good food for the family on the man.

Wow 6:10 - 7:30 felt very realistic. 2 things tho: 1. I know its not the woman's SOLE responsibility (lol don't come for me pls) to cook and clean but she was clearly 'insensitive' because obviously she must have been eating while working at home - plus it went on for just too long! 2. As important as communication is in a marriage, its very easy to relapse and think/expect your partner to be a mind reader sometimes - He should have just talked to her. 3. Staying the night without settling just prolongs matters lol heck he even travelled without discussing it (I could never do that lol) - but hey we will always be human beings.

When Tee came home from work and saw the fridge empty, nothing on the stove or in the microwave and the trash overflowing, he should have taken out the trash and immediately went out to eat by himself. She was home all day and did nothing around the house? NOTHING!! Stuff like this is one of the reasons why side-pieces (or the clean-up woman) exist. I understand that Tee was upset and hungry and let Dede know of his frustrations, but I would have blown up at her. I would have done the work myself and then made up in my mind never to come home hungry. What women don't want is someone else doing there job for them. I totally agree with him giving them some space by going to visit his mom. I agree with the advice given by the parents, but that is no excuse for not taking care of home. Great episode and I look forward to the next one.
