More spectacular videos of another overlooked part of the world (at least in my corner)! Yes, the place is truly fantastic and it DOES remind me of the Hawaii's Big Island in particular (which may be one reason WHY Hawaii is a popular tourist destination for those from the Far East). It's great seeing the four of you having fun and LEARNING so much together despite your different ages and experiences. BTW, if you're ever interested in truly learning how to be literate in Korean, one advantage it has over the Chinese and Japanese languages is that its written language consists of an alphabet with individual letters spelling out each word instead of each CHARACTER being its own word/phrase component. Lovely trip to Korea✨ The food looks interesting and delicious💓 You should also visit Chichijima in the Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo. You can enjoy the subtropical nature, which is registered as a World Heritage site. The colorful coral reefs and tropical fish are beautiful, and dolphin watching is highly recommended. I would like you to visit Okinawa at least once. It may be easier to get to here. Prices are cheap, and the laid-back nature of the prefecture makes it a soothing tropical country🌴🌴

After independence, however, Jeju residents, enraged by the extreme ideological conflict and the suppression of the central government including the US military government, staged a leftist rebellion on April 3, 1948. However, as soon as the Republic of Korea government was established, Jeju Island was considered a completely communist island, and a large-scale massacre occurred. At that time, the population of Jeju Island was 300,000, and between 30,000 and 80,000 of them lost their lives unjustly. Today, Korea is constantly making efforts to reflect on this tragic history and not forget it, but the sad reality is that it is still developing into a serious political conflict within Korea due to the many interests involved.

@@OurStorytoTell Nick K rode his bike from Busan (south) to Seoul….one of his most memorable moments was when a small town “mayor” offered Nick to sleep and shower at the city council’s headquarters….the “mayor” gave him the keys and told him to drink soju and beer in the fridge…..he also gave him breakfast food…..this was at the same time they allowed Nick to stay overnight at “city hall” and trusted Nick wholeheartedly! It’s pretty amazing!

어이,,외국인 아이들아..'konnichiwa'는 일본어로 '안녕하세요'라는 말이다..왜 한국에 와서 어린 아이들이 일본어로 인사를 하게 만들었냐?? 어린 아이들이 설마 일본어를 공부했을 리는 없고,,부모인 너희가 한국어와 일본어를 구별 못하고 아이들에게 일본어 인사를 한국에서 하도록 만든 것 같은데..제발 한국 여행 오기 전에 미리 기본적인 한국어 공부라도 좀 하고 와라..한국에 와서 어린 아이들이 일본어로 인사하도록 만들지 말고, 그리고 한국 사람에게 너희가 영어를 씨부리지 말고..

Thanks for a wonderful view of Jeju. Too bad the weather was not a bit better. My wife and I have been there several times and one of our nieces live there. It is where we went for our honeymoon 41 years ago. If you had more time and a better insight as to where to go, it proves to be fantastic. A popular tourist location for Koreans, Japanese and Chinese as well as many others.😊😊😊
