When I was a kid, I remember my Mum sending me to the corner shop to get a bottle of pop. She sent me with two empty glass bottles to get the refund. The shopkeeper told me that the pop factories were going to stop giving refunds because all of her pop suppliers were switching to plastic bottles and there would be no more refunds. I asked. "So what happens to the empty plastic bottles. Don't we bring those back!" The shopkeeper's answer was, "I don't know, I suppose you just throw them away!" My response was "But we can't throw them all the way. It will make a big mess!" From the mouths of babes. I was about 8 years old. I was just an average kid. If I knew it was going to be a problem, the manufacturers new ut was going to be a problem. They just didn't care, as long as it wasn't their problem.

A lot of men today have suboptimal levels of testosterone, a lot less than their fathers or grandfathers had just 30-50 years ago. There are various reasons for this. One factor that is oftentimes neglected is endocrine disruptors in our environment (i.e., xenoestrogens, BPA, phthalates, triclosan, etc.), phytoestrogens in food (i.e., soy, which is present in almost all processed foods), and hypothyroidism (subclinical or autoimmune Hashimoto's disease). To increase testosterone levels, including libido and erection quality, naturally and reduce chronic inflammation: • Get enough daily sunlight. • Vitamin D3 (especially during the winter or if you live in a northern climate). • Zinc picolinate (20-40 mg per day). • Magnesium glycinate/citrate. • Resistance training (3-5 times per week for 45-90 minutes max). • Adequate neuromuscular recovery (e.g., don't overtrain). • Adequate (quality) sleep. • More healthy fats (monounsaturated and saturated fats from sources like grass-fed red meat, pasture-raised eggs, fatty fish, organic full-fat dairy, coconut fat, avocados, cocoa butter, certain nuts and seeds, etc.). • Increase dietary cholesterol intake through nutrient-dense, whole foods. Cholesterol is the building block of all steroid hormones, including androgens such as testosterone. • Manage stress. Do what you have to do to keep it under control (i.e., meditation, yoga, nature walks, relaxing music, massage/reflexology sessions, adaptogenic herbs, etc.). • Chronically elevated cortisol levels disrupt the HPT (hypothalamus-pituitary-testicles) axis and deplete your body of the very resources it needs to produce androgens like testosterone and DHT. • Eat enough quality calories (not all calories are the same!). • Avoid large or prolonged calorie deficits. • Eat adequate amounts of each macronutrient (protein, carbs, fats). All of them are important in their own way and serve specific physiological functions. Beneficial Supplements: • Shilajit • Ashwagandha • Maca • Taurine • L-Carnitine (increases androgen receptor density) • Creatine • Tongkat Ali • Fadogia Agrestis • Black Ginger • Pine pollen (contains natural androgens) • Boron (increases free testosterone) • DIM (natural anti-estrogen) "The Testosterone Advantage" by Timotheus Ray is a nice read on male health and hormone optimization.

I wish someone would bring back glass bottles.

My mate sells wine and he says that glass bottles are problematic as they weigh so much more they use a lot more fuel. Not saying plastic is better but there's a cost to everything. Maybe cans are the answer. I don't know.

@@jamesmochan8576 good point. That's the problem with mass production in places that aren't local which is why small businesses we're nice. We spend so much money on other projects but I think that's one that needs focused on like corn also. Oil and corn have so many uses and we took advantage of that but now that science has opened our eyes we need to choose health over profit but they saying that to monsanto and the oil companies 🤣

Also mens testosterone levels are regulated by the women around them. If a man is around an elderly woman or child for example, their testosterone levels lower … compared to being around a young fertile woman. A man can pick out from a silhouette of a range of women walking, which woman is ovulating. Most women of childbearing age are on some form of hormonal contraception… this temporary suspends their cycle …..this lack of women actually being fertile seems to be affecting men as well … really interesting

I HATE HOW THERE ARE NO INTRODUCTIONS ON THESE. Is it cuz it's a clip of an interview? Maybe you could still attach the intros...??? Another channel has been getting yelled at for that also, "cold opens" (Andrew Gold). Is this a British thing?
