For me, at 39 years, it a mind blowing scent,it s classic and modern at the same time, mandarin and lavender, then smooth soft woods. Projection is soft, siage is good, longevity 8-10 hours.

How similar is Fougère d’Argent Tom Ford to Gucci Envy in your opinion?

Fougere d'Argent is quite similar in style to Envy ( I own both) but they are not identical, FdA is like a modern update fougere style Envy, and Envy is more oriental that fouler although both of them have noticeable lavender, ginger, mandarin note.

Good review brother. I actually grabbed Duas inspiration Chivalrey. I really like it. The scent is unique in this climate of blue. I'm 37 so this works for me. Duas version gets me great compliments.

Erich Wolf me too man, but i finally got a sample at Saks fifth yesterday & i gota say.....its better than D’Argant..homestly. Its a lil more fruity, more woody as well. They mix beautifully. It lasted from 3pm to 7 pm projecting, then skin scent until this morning around 9 am it fades away. Fougere Platine ( platnum) is the wsy to go

Refined exactly. You described this perfectly. But this doesn't smell oldish at all. It's a very modern fougere in my opinion unlike Beau de jour. This needs a mature nose to appreciate it. Nice video.

This one is great and I have 2 bottles. Curious which one you prefer when compared to MFK masculine pluriel? I’m on the fence about getting a bottle. Have the Grand Soir and Oud satin mood and love them. Does pleriel stand out alone?

Robert Standerford Pluriel is my favorite fragrance; I’ve tried this one too and I love it. They’re very different, though, Pluriel to me seems sweeter, smoother, more playful, typical MFK-style. The Argent is more metallic and linear, more masculine and traditional - reminds me a lot of YSL Rive Gauche, one of my favorite fragrances ever, which appears to be discontinued now.
