It's not JOB role to defend his employers choices. I heard him explain his position in terms of Sangita regarding her rajar ratings. Apparently, she has been dropped because she is not pulling in enough listeners. LBC is a commercial operation that relies on advertising revenue to exist. No listeners = no advertising revenue. I suspect it was a purely corporate decision. But Sangita is a talented and well loved presenter who will find a place on another media outlet. Until she puts out her version of events, probably best not to speculate.
