I've been wanting to try their products for decades and I now really want to try this amp and their power amp. I also would love to hear them hooked up to the Audiovector R1 Arrette with the grounding cables. I think you should review those speakers at some point with this amp. Audiovector are also Scandinavian and are stunning. Should be a match made in Heaven.

Not interesting. That is one of the most artificial mechanical amps out there 🤔 I prefer Class A and tube amps or otherwise look at Michi or Unison or Vincent or Unity Atom series or Circle Labs A200 for instance 🤔

@@MG-iv8oo again, there is no best or better or worse in audio. It all depends on the sound one prefers. The ECI has a solid punch kind of sound. Dynamics but with solidity and warmth in the mids while keeping a clear well composed soundstage. It’s beefy, a shade dark in sound and gives the full bodied sound that most music excels with. The Pass is more airy, light footed and transparent in the mids. I’d say the pass creates a more detailed soundstage but is not as full bodied nor punchy. Both are awesome. I actually love the 25 as it’s just a pure analog integrated. No built in’s and I like the basic nature of it. Also love the looks of it in black. I have been toying with finding a black one to add in here but they are close to $10k today, which is nuts for a basic 25 WPC integrated. Though Pass is quality through and through.

a few observations ,,,,,, this unit is almost 8 grand yet does not have a phono stage ......... the phono stage adds 4 grand ..... if you are not using it for phono then you don't even need an integrated as just a simple buffer such as the PASS B1 that can be purchased for 400 is all you need to match impedance and control volume ....... with technology on streaming updating and improving so fast why in the world would you want to lock yourself into an all in one unit ?

I have the non-DAC/streamer version and the amp/pre itself is where the great sound comes from. Sound signature is smooth, lush, and expansive, but with plenty of detail. Most amps this smooth do so at the expense of detail. This one maintains the detail, but never get fatiguing the way some do.
