I hope this comes off well and I don't want to offend. I looked at your store and new listings, your photos are lacking. I don't know if taking pics of action figures from 6 feet away and off center is going to help the item sell. If you're going to take the time to list an item put in a bit of effort on the photos. Good photos really sell items

I agree with you, and I love Dave as a person, and I’m sure he will be the first to say it… but him and Carey are horrible examples as resellers lol. Photos are part of the issue. Carey I don’t follow at all anymore. Kevin is amazing.

All kidding aside, it actually hurts resellers in general and gives us a bad name. There is another reseller who has a big following, sweetheart of a guy too, and his feedback is horrible because he’s not descriptive in condition.

You are so right! Your dad deserves to make money on the job. We’re retired as well and that extra money helps make the pension checks go a little bit farther! I think you’re the sign of a son that’s been raised well without a sense of entitlement. You continue to be grateful to the cheaper price you get from having your dad do it! Good for you Dave! ❤

I like to buy used cars past the age where the timing belt has been replaced as that is the most expensive car maintenance thing on most models, that way I just never have to do it. Dave, I also want to scream stop doing free shipping at you. I could take the free shipping out of your store in a few minutes with some mass edits.

9:49 DAVE! You are 100% right about your Dad! Anyone who would let a family member work for nothing is not much in my book! Everyone is trying to make it…. Including family! We shouldn’t take advantage of anyone… family or not!!! Just my opinion!
@ActingAFoolForYou11 ай бұрын
It’s fine for family to pay or charge each other. I have found that depending upon them for a freebie makes them resentful to having anything to do with you if you do it enough. I do my own and my mom and brothers taxes every year and I charge them. Nowhere near what a tax place would but enough for my time and materials.

I am a Free Shipping person - unless it is a really strange item. I think it helps my sales. Maybe, I lose a few dollars if someone from PR or Alaska buys the item. Usually, my "free shipping estimate" that I bake into my selling price, is higher than what I ultimately pay on shipping (only a couple dollars or so). Currently, waiting for payment on four Shelby GT Mustang Tire Rims. I put calculated and FREIGHT on that one. Going to use Shiply for that one - they do have an interface with eBay. Everyone has what works best for them. There is definitely No One Way to resell. Hoping good sales for everyone!!

I have 3 adult children, I'm retired. By retired, I mean I don't have a job and have enough money to pay our bills. I happily would repair my kids cars so long as they pay for parts and don't go overboard. I'd be especially happy if a grandchild would help with repairs.

They don’t disclose that if you have existing items and try to import them they count against your “new” listings even before you cross post them! They, of course, tried to up charge me to get more listings. It’s absolutely deceptive and not ok.

Personally I think it's awesome you incorporate the kids in the bidness. I've been trying to teach my girls,13 and 9, eBay so they can always have an avenue to generate revenue. #2.. my wife goes completely bat sh$& crazy angry too when I ask her to slow down or not drive recklessly..#3 As always your mom rules and needs her own channel exclusively her just interacting with the public and carrying giant items everywhere with Elijah exclusively editing it!! Just want to say OK Google good job appreciate you and your family and Mama pick her. Ignore all these negative comments that you get occasionally because you're doing great tell your son he does a great job editing he'll get better as he goes, he was just excited I would have done the same thing as a kid just starting out. I'd rather see that than being lazy. Hes a great kid he'll figure life out. And just because old people dont like that kind of editing dont mean his generation wont like it. He might bring im a new younger viewers to your channels. So maybe just mix it up and let him do his thing once a month and see how it goes. ❤😊

@@WellnessWizdomTruth! There's a difference between constructive criticism and negative comments. Telling people that everything they do is fine is not helpful. People, even kids, should know how to take advice and criticism and they should learn that changing the way they do things to appeal to a wider audience is not a bad thing. If people never change or adapt, then they won't be able to "compete" when they step into the real world. That being said, the way criticism or advice is delivered is another issue.

funny how people will pay a stranger more money to do something, and expect family or friends to do it for free... it all depends on the situation, if that's how he earns money and you are happy to pay him, its a win win for everyone.

Does USPS have a box to use for golf clubs for shipping
@mauison11 ай бұрын
Not specifically but USPS adds an extra charge for longer boxes. I use UPS Ground and use 4x4x48 boxes (cut down to size) for irons and putters.
@pnw-coast11 ай бұрын
USPS has long triangular boxes, but you'd have to ship using Priority Mail. With the length surcharge, that would be a very expensive shipping label. UPS is usually the most economical option, but you have to provide your own box.

Why is it that just because platforms like youtube have comment sections people think they have the right to spew their "thoughts" and "trying to help you" messages? Nothing nothing nothing gives people the right to make another human feel like a walking piece of trash. It's just not right. If you do not like, agree, or enjoy what you are seeing just click on out and go find something better to do with your time than to make others feel your ugly soul. Just my thoughts..
