Why does it have to be an elaborate pan national line up. If Iceland men can do it with a population of 300,000, that’s one small town in India. Let’s pick one small town, invest in infrastructure there alone. Make that the capital of Indian football. One town, Kota produces thousands of IITians every year. Lets make the same for sports, football in particular. One generation is all we need to get us off our asses and our addiction to the black hole that is cricket, and participants and maybe even leaders in a true global challenge - football.
