Frampton caught lightning in a bottle with this album. Everyone had it. Everyone loved it. There's something on this album for everyone. He was never quite able to capture the magic of this album again, but he's still doing it, and he's still great. The industry kinda chewed him up and spit him out in the late 70s. I'm glad he didn't become jaded and just quit or fade into obscurity.

Lex is absolutely right about that feeling. It's a feeling that few can understand, because it was before cell phones or social media. It was record albums and 8 tracks. It was muscle cars and cruzing the strip. It was dancing every chance I got. I think I actually might have had grandmas flapjacks while looking out her kitchen window as Baby I love your way played on her radio, and I thought how lucky I was to be alive at that moment. You are blessed Lex. You react to songs the same way I did when I first heard them 50 years ago.

I totally relate to the way Lex describes her reactions to music videos. Pictures, memories, visions & feelings are what comes up when I hear 60s & 70s music. It takes me back to that era. It's like Lex has a time machine & she's been to the 60s & 70s a few times. It's not a complete mystery. She gets it.

That guitar on the album cover, the iconic Gibson Les Paul with the 3 pickups was in a cargo plane that crashed in South America in 1980. Someone stole it from the wreckage and sold it. After 30 years someone brought it into a guitar shop to have some work done on it. The guitar tech recognized it and emailed Frampton's people. They managed to get it back after more than 31 years. It's got lots of bumps, bruises and burns on it but sounds as great as ever. Frampton calls it his "Phenix" guitar because it rose from the ashes.

YES YES YES!!! Entire Album!! You don't even have to react, just Hear It! It will be with You and Yours forever...I was 21 when this came out, was magical time, I was blessed to see his 25th anniversary tour for this album at the St Augustine amphitheater a few years ago, sounded just like the album and crowd was So into it!!! Great react, as usual!

Big Mountain did a slow Reggae style version in the 90’s. Similar vibe. Might have been in a commercial. You guys are a great review team.

One of the best live albums of all time. Great from beginning to end. When this came out it, it took over. In much the same way that Kiss Alive did. So glad this was the music of my childhood. I was 10 when this came out.

A great live album by a great artist. Before its release in 1976, Frampton was known as a first-rate guitarist; but afterward, he became a huge pop star, which I don't think he was really comfortable with. This album was beyond HUGE! It just took over everyone's life in the summer of 1976.
