As a car guy I very much appreciate this video! Love your GTI, and we have the same problem here in Canada, but with salt more so than mud. I recently bought a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic RS last year, and love it for very similar reasons to your Polo! Keep up the great work! Look forward to your next video! :)

Nice little car. I used to have a 2004 VW Golf, 2.0L. I really liked it, except for the fuel filter under the back seat leaked, not once, but twice, quite expensive to replaced, dealer told me not their problem, so I sold it. Thanks for sharing your cute little wheels. 👍😉

I've got a 2010 Golf but I'm looking to upgrade in the summer and I'll be going for this model rather than the new one. The dash lights on my Golf are starting to flicker a lot these days and for a 9 year old car that isn't too good. I can see there being problems with the digital dash in the new model in the future so I'll be going for this model rather than the newer one when I upgrade.

That gen is sooo much nicer than the new polo. Personally I'd of got the 3 door. I thinks it's a really nice looking small car. I currently have the Leon ST FR 2.0tsi 190 7dsg. It's a cracking car. Mine is a dark colour and I live in the country, and I can't keep it clean. Lol.

There is a war on diesel. Best avoided from now on. In about 4 years time, you won't be able to give them away. They will make great second hand purchases as long as you don't mind the price of diesel and that your planning to keep the car to its end of life. In about 2022, ex lease diesel saloons will be going for next to nothing. Sadly diesel will be about 50p. A litre more than petrol if not more.

Around here (in north america) it usually translates to "Ricer", which is a take on imports (Japanese in particular), but is applied to most any vehicle with "Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements"

That's not muddy! lol. I'm in rural Kansas USA, our roads are horrible, I can't even tell what color my little Mazda B2200 pickup is anymore. The mud is so thick it's flaking off and there's more mud under it. There's no point in washing it because it will just get muddy again when I drive out to my house.

We have the same problem in wales, you drive about a mile and the car is filthy. I like vw gti's, but I prefer the peugeot 308 gti, as I grew up with ( and still have) a 307 hdi, so I am used to them.
