It bothers me that Bob doesn’t press the point about the timing being suspicious. He’s obviously trying to say that his dad wouldn’t have believed him because he was leaving too late in the day to realistically get to a hypothetical open day in time but Lee missing the point just cuts him off and Bob gives up.

intelligence is an interesting thing, at 7:10 a world class scientist can't comprehend that a caller would in fact know they're talkign to rob if he didn't pretend to be someone else. we're all tools for specific jobs, there is no flat intelligence that makes you good at everything.

Nah, he asked why Rob's got a new agent now and Rob said it's very difficult to do your own negotiations and not come across as a horrible person. But that's not a valid point as his clients didn't know it was him so he wouldn't have come across as a horrible person. Rob probably wanted to say that he himself felt horrible about doing it but that's not what he said.

​​@@zytennit actually is a valid point. Because if he negotiates hard for more pay and then he gets the job, they have a negative impression of him on the first day as someone who wants more money. If he negotiates as his "agent" they might dislike the agent but not the talent. And if they complain to Rob about his "agent" he can just join in and agree with them

@@wahahabuh But that's the thing. If u watch closely, Brian was asking why Rob stopped being his own agent. Because as you described, there's no downside to him negotiating as the agent what coz his clients won't know that Rob's the one asking for money
