fr, i played so much that i actually got as good as my hidden mmr but when i started, i played with my mates who were diamond-champ a couple games, rest of that season, i only met emerald and higher. i had to create a brand new account and intentionaly lose matches in a row to make my hidden mmr really low to even have a chance to rank up further than bronze.

Same, also on console. 0.8 W/L. Started playing yesterday on my old smurf that I made even before I started playing on my now main. My smurf is lvl 230 and my main is 218😂. I'm already silver 2 in the exact same lobbies. Played 17 matches now with 13 W and 4 L. It makes no sense. On my main I have a 1.4 K/D and now I have a 1.7 versing the same people. That deadzone glitch fucked my main account.

I've had champ enemies since 2.0 dropped and my highest in 1.0 was plat 3 with 155 rp left to get plat 2. And since 2.0 started I've been up against top 400-3000 champs. But I've gotten much better the last 3 seasons and can keep a 1.4 K/D in those lobbies and got champ as well but nowhere near their skill level. I dropped my main account after 70 matches and barely got to em 4 wit 0.8 W/L. Got my old stolen PSN acc back yesterday and things are going way better with same matchmaking, but 13W and 4L, 3.3 W/L

10:47 shield's worst placement is on stairs for this exact reason. Not only will you get pushed like the Iana did but she had stair advantage at her angle being able to shoot your feet when she hit your shield. It's also just straight up a bad idea to push stairs with any shield because all sorts of bs happens like getting tapped when you're rushing up the stairs with blitz. deathtrap for a shield.

I all so think that shields are somewhat delayed, in the sense that what you see is differnt than what other people see, like how the clash shield was back in poistion in varsitys POV but not in ianas, same thing happens with other shield ops when aiming.

I uninstalled last night because of the state of the servers this season. Hit registry is utterly horrendous. Last season was the first time I tried ranked seriously, played like 180 games. Not once did I finish a game with 0 kills. I've played probably 25 games this season and have finished with 0 kills like 4 times. The players aren't better (actually, they're considerably worse which is even more frustrating), my ping isn't different, just feels like the bullets do absolutely no damage every other match. Kill cams show something completely different than when I was shooting. It's borderline unplayable since the update and yet ubisoft asks for more money...

It’s so dumb, if I’m a silver but I’m playing with high golds and low plats my hidden mmr is low plat high gold, but if the game thinks my hidden mmr is low plat high gold, then MAKE ME THAT RANK. And it already makes me look bad being in silver (even though I know I’m actually high gold low plat) and on top of that, since I’m playing against those higher skill players I have a negative KD. It stops you from showing any sign of improvement on your visual rank, it shows your rank is silver even though it should be high gold like the mmr, and therefore puts you into games where it’s a near fair fight for both sides, but if I have exactly a 50/50 win rate, then how am I going to rank up and show I deserve gold on my visual rank? Fucking bullshit

And yet, for some reason I keep going against multiple season champions back to back; usually it’s a 3-5 stack of them too. This new hidden MMR stuff is very frustrating to me. And moreover, it carries into standard games as well. I can’t tell you how many losing streaks I’ll have each day playing this game on Standard only and I play against champions and diamonds sweating their asses off against causal players? I don’t know man… siege is just so frustrating now.

Shields have priority over shield animations 😢 Everything that causes an animation will either be slower or faster for everyone else but you 😢 For instance: ADS: just tapping it makes everyone see you’re aiming even when you aren’t in full aim Shield vaulting: even if you’re facing your enemy and shooting, to the enemy, you are facing straight forward and vaulting, THEN you turn if they failed to kill you in your animation. Shield hit: Your shield goes to the side and back in front of you. By the time the shield is in front of you, the animation of your shield coming back is still happening I like to say with my party that the biggest nerf for shields are their animations

I'm 2 to 5, started playing ranked matches the day before yesterday, note that I had gone MONTHS without even touching the game and then as soon as I got back to it, all I did was play a few hours of map training and then I hopped straight into ranked matches. Needless to say, I got a 0.8 KD right now and as I mentioned, I'm at 2Ws and 5Ls, my last game was pretty good though, I tried changing the controls to crouch on space and hold and vault on X, but I figured that wasn't working for me so I reverted the changes and lo and behold, I was actually able to kill 9 dudes and bump my KD back up to 0.8, because initially it was 0.5 💀and I'm copper IV right now. In comparison to the last season it is AWFUL, since I played only 4 ranked matches (or maybe it was 5) and won every single one of them.

The hidden MMR system just needs to go dude. I’m a returning player who hit Gold 1 way back in year 3. I’m constantly getting paired up with people in gold or plat and rarely an emerald while I’m still at the BOTTOM of copper I’m having to claw my way outta copper fighting golds and plats. Meanwhile every time I win I get +30-40MMR but lose 20-25 per loss As someone who solo queues it win just about 50% of my games probably closer to 45% and I have a good KD at 1.4 but Jesus Christ it’s miserable playing ranked I remember back in the day when we had placement matches which imo made wayyy more sense You play 10 matches and based on how you do on those 10 you get placed in a certain rank And I remember a handful of times I placed straight into gold after those matches but now it’s near impossible for me to even hit silver

On PC i am 10 games in and no wins at all I'm playing against emeralds and up from last season and my team mates are around copper silver and the odd gold and or emerald up, the other team will have site set up perfectly and yet mine will get butt hurt we're down 1-2 then start grieffing by shotting other teammates and destroying utility (cams. traps, ETC.) and its super annoying. this hidden MMR match making is ridiculous. will probably just do standard at this point cause it seems actually possible to win games.

I hate how I can't enjoy my favorite game anymore. The decision to remove placement matches is one of the dumbest to me. My rank is being determined by mostly bronze and copper teammates. I just lost a game where I was 14-5 and my best teammate went 4-7 with 2 others going 0-9 and 1-9. These type of games are repeatedly happening. I shouldn't have to 1-4 clutch EVERY round just to get to gold. Champ or something sure but not just to get to gold. I hop on cams when I die yellow pinging every chance I get to catch something. I play support when needed and don't bait but almost every round of every game I play Im the last alive in the 1st minute with my worst teammate talking crap cause I didn't clutch a full team rushing me every round. I used to start in diamond and never went down and with new ranked I can't barley get to gold every season with randoms. This is my best season ever. Hit diamond in 75 matches but now it's just cheaters every fucking match and I'm over it.

I use to be plat every season, this season Despite being positive in KDA, ive went on 10+ match lose streaks and im the middle of bronze ranks after 40 matches. Feels like every game either has a cheater, both teams cheating, or just griefers who have given up on playing ranked yet still que up.

This is my 1st season ever. I have moved up to bronze 2 in like my 1st 3hours of playing ranked ever. My win loss is great but my KD isn't lol. I was wondering why I struggled, turns out everyone gets reset to begining and there's no mmr, just rating

PSA: Positive KD doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing your part if you’re allowing your team to die and getting 3 kills a round on your clutch attempt. No shade at Varsity but I keep getting low teamwork randos pointing out their KD when they’re doing jack shit to actually help the team.

Question so I have cross play on and I queue in every once and a while and go positive but when I queue with cross play off with my friends my KD instantly goes Dow to like a 0.2. So are console people more skilled or something
