This Is NOT A Real Mine...

This is LorraMine, a 1/50 scale open pit mine. Put together by a group of French guys, this project is simply outstanding!
On top of showcasing perfectly weathered machines such as the Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu, O&K (etc), the french geniuses set the bar even higher by building workshops, little miners and a lot of other things inspired by the real mining world.

INCREDIBLE!... AMAZING!... UNBELIEVABLE!...These words come to mind when I saw this model, but I don't think they convey the awesomeness of this, the attention to detail is second to NONE! I run heavy equipment and have worked in quarries and they nailed the weathered and heavily used wear on these models, even the way the tires squat showing them under a load, the extra dust and dirt that built up around the grease points, this is truly a stunning and awesome scale model, they should travel around the world and display this, its a real masterpiece! Thank you...
