Great list as usual. I'm going to try and blindbuy Elizabeth Taylor Passion. I looked it up and it's 15 bucks for 118ml. Can't go wrong with that even if I don't end up liking it. Zino by Davidoff and Eau de Rochas are two fragrances I can suggest.You probably forgot to put them on your list;)

What a refreshing take on 'cheapie' fragrances. Again you're spot on with what may be cheap but look beyond the price as there's potential in some. I got the CdG Girl at TKMaxx for 16 of your dollars and it came with a 10ml travel spray! Again it was a comment I saw from Lyn ( she comments here too) and it went on my radar, Antoine Lie is co- creator too. So it does have potential, it's not far off For Him by Narcisso Rodriguez which again was a cheapie but since being discontinued has risen in price sharply. I meant to ask after seeing you show Balenciaga Portos, have you tried Balenciaga Rumba?....honey in there and leather and JCE is involved, late 80's I think. Don't normally watch affordables/ Cheapies but this was on another level and as is the case with these they do have a habit of going up in price when your back is turned. Great as always, thanks.

My favorite cheapie of all time is Narciso Rodriguez for Him EDT, got a 100ml for 40 bucks. I find it more interesting and way more worth a buy than a lot of expensive niche i have tried

The Lomani is a great discovery for me, what a scent! Masculine, fresh, classic out of the shave it is! 4 days with me (current formula) and it already become a keeper. The next stop will be One Man Show and Bogart signature.

Great content as always, and I'm happy to see that I have a few of the examples you talked about, although I'd like to put out there another great cheapy house that not many people talk about, that's, lanvin, I've tried a couple on store and was quite impressed, have you tried anything from this house, I'm particularly interested in oxygene, which was an Alberto morillas creation and lauded as a top notch cypress, if you've tried it I'd love to hear what you think, also very cheap for what they are.

Never tried oxygene but I think Jonathan1970 has & he said its a little meh... a bit boring if memory serves. I have a few Lanvins like Arpege Extrait (which came out in the 1920 and is one of the best fragrances I have ever smelled) Arpege pour homme (which is this Dior Homme Clone) & avante garde (which is this honey tobacco beautiful cheepie) & finally eau my sin (which is this dirty animalic floral) Great house😊

Yessir!! Still remember when I smelled Joop Homme in one of those scented pages of a Vogue magazine back in "89". I Had to have it! I dont think Joop's current haters know what Joop used to be at launch. It was AMAZING... Shame its been butchered😢. I still buy it nowadays as it vaguely reminds me of the old formulation. Oddly enough tho. I also currently buy Cacharel's Lou Lou bc the dry down is so similar to OG Joop imo! Excellent vid btw.. ty for showing these affordable offerings😊

Ohhh thats a tough question becuse my bottle of frederic malle musc ravageur is an older formula with the matte black cap and there is an expiration date that says 2015 but its still perfect & my bottle of lomani pour homme says it expired in 2007 and its still perfect... the other thing is the clock usually doesnt start on a fragrance until it is first sprayed .. until air is let into the bottle by the atomizer . Thats why if you find an older bottle is much more likely to be in pristine condition if it has never been sprayed ... normally the citrus top notes disappear first but that doesnt mean the whole fragrance has turned... hope that helps and thanks for watching & commenting 👍

Just so you know, cassis is black currant leaf/bud...cassia is a tree bark ground into a powder and a spice often used in place of cinnamon due to its cheapness... cassie is a yellow floral. At least that is what my perfumer friends have told me (Ellen Covey, Olympic Orchids/Christi Meshell, House of Matriarch/Dawn Spencer from DSH Perfumes/Les Parfums de Beaux Arts). I have also noticed that Fragrantica often says MYRRH when its actually MYRTLE (or vice versa). Just FYI I discovered you when I went on my current tobacco perfumes march (I have over 200!) I saw and watched your entire 2 hour top 85 tobacco vid! LOVE your style, your collection, your tastes and your overall style & demeanor. I went back to the oldest video of yours (biggest vintage haul ever) and plan on devouring your entire catalog-it's such a cornucopia of vintage knowledge! Keep on keepin' on my fragrant brother...smell swell and be well! I will always love Grey Flannel. I get more compliments wearing this than anything I own - I probably have 80 fragrances; it works so well with my skin chemistry. I like the modern version too. I may have to check out a vintage too. Your videos are the best.

Some other cheapies to consider are - Reyane Tradition Insurrection Wild II ( Mugler Pure Havane) - Outremer ( OO-Treh-Mare) Cola and Vanille flavors ( Underrated) - 4711 EDC ( Napoleon wore this) - Burberry London for men - Van Gils Strictly for Men( or For Men). Very underrated.

Hi Ramsey Keep forgetting to mention that fragrantica definition of cassia , cassie , cassis is wrong 1 Cassis in French means blackcurrant 2 Cassie = Acacia flower (yellow flowers) After distillation of acacia flower in parfum is called Cassie 3 Cassia = Senna auriculata (yellow flowers ) I don't know how fragrantica come out with this leafy things

I have Lomani PH and Elizabeth Taylor Passion for Men. And I would recommend English Laundry Arrogance and Signature. I would also recommend cheapies D'Orsey Le Dandy, Sergio Tacchin, David Becham Instinct, and Mr. Blass by Bill Blass. Mr. Blass has a nice Escada Pour Homme like drydown.

And I have a new and old Dreamer and the older has a beautiful tobacco accord worth seeking over the newer... Imho✌️.... Like the analogy of walking T-Rex on a leash. Even though the classic is one of my favorite genres, I still have not been able to "stomach" Grey Flannel, as it churns my stomach every time. I will try to associate it with Dior Fahrenheit, as it's one of my all-time faves, and hope that might tame the T-Rex Grey Flannel for me.

😂😂😂 Watch my unboxing from a few weeks ago from Enchante perfumes... i found a vintage Grey Flannel from the 1980s when Jacqueline Cochran was the distribitor of Geoffrey Beene fragrances and it stunned me with how beautiful it was the first 2 to 3 hours... not harsh at all like the new stuff 😊

The vintage open by R&G is killer. Its up there w it's patch comparable to Perry Ellis for men, and moods by krizia. Deep.... The modern version is scratchy I didn't care for it. The vintage open black, and the new version of it were pretty similar though.

Big fan of Starwalker for years. Crazy thing is that it cranks off of my skin and lasts 8 hours consistently. I've heard so many people say it doesn't last I must be an anomaly lol

I had 1881 cerutti and I sold it, but I’m thinking of getting it again, I’ve been into old school 90’s masculines. And I’ve never got a bottle of bogart signature. I wasn’t a fan of one man show, like…at all. Is bogart similar to Paco rabanne pour homme?

I have a 250 ml flaccon of bois du portugal... so i dont own the lalique.. the one with the lion on the bottle right? I think I had a sample once and I thought the biggest difference was that cedar note is amped up in the lalique.. smells a little more of pencil shavings than BDP... but do let me know what you think!

Really enjoyed the video, will be trying passion I think, I have bijan, Jaipur, open, and lomani, all great and combined less than a bottle of one million, who could argue, don't have visit, but I've settled on quorum silver, it's really very close and dirt cheap, it's also compared with lalique home equus which is also fantastic but quorum just feels easier to wear casually, bijan is just unbelievable, have found it's best just one spray on the hand and a dribble behind the ears, lasts for days!
