The only issue I can think of with knitting, liking pink etc is if he's with a very logical woman vs someone more emotional, hyperfeminine or creative. Both men and women get othered for that type of stuff cause it's not productive enough. And the salary would be an issue if it's an indicator that he shows up as a doormat in life or if he wants a wife that stays at home with the kids.

Some men aren't very bright. At an outdoor wedding reception one of the males in the wedding party changed into salmon colored shorts that looked more orange than pink. One of the men said hey he's wearing pink shorts he must be secure in his masculinity. That was so stupid because I was sitting with them and I was wearing an actual pink shirt. Possibly more fuchsia than a pastel pink.

Men pick on each another based on how their partner? Seriously? Wow! I would deem one such person a horribly ill behaved person. When it comes to the looks of a person, regardless of the gender, the rule of them should be if you cannot compliment them, then just stay quiet. Horrible manners trying to tease another person based on their looks.

I disagree with the too much hair issue. It's not about the fact that the hair grows there, it's about the lack of bodily hygiene when your armpit hair is super long and bushy. Just use a hair trimmer every once in a while, it takes literally less than a minute. It's the same with long or bushy beards, it's not about looks, it's about hygiene. It's so disgusting to see people with long bushy beards eat, when half of the food, especially sauce, gets stuck in their beards. Even if I were gay, I couldn't imagine kissing such a guy, with all the smells of his last 6 dishes still reeking up to my nose upon getting closer.
