When it comes to gardening, there's nothing wrong with the addiction to produce more food for your family and friends. You are constantly learning about the sciences, geography and maths. It is also free therapy but you get food in the process. Almost like we evolved that way...

I'm totally amazed at your garden! It is a reflection of you James! I have always gardened and put up our veggies for the year. This year we are taking it up a notch or two! You have continued to encourage and educate me, Thank you!!! My husband and I have cleared a whole piece of our property of every thorn bush and vine that had overtaken the land here, we did it all by hand and planted the start of a fruit orchard....a variety of apples, Pears and cherries. again, thanks to you! I have expanded the regular garden, added 4 raised beds, and started two other gardens, one for a variety of Cole crops and another for all sorts of melons and pumpkins and ground cherries. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. We are growing a huge variety of potatoes and Yams and every kind of bean you can think of. I installed 8 @ 10ft rows of poles and netting for beans and another section for trellising the indeterminent tomatoes, another section for determinate tomatoes, 48 plants in all. I'm only going 4 types of peppers this year as I still have quite a bit stored from last year. I can't even begin to tell you the variety of food we are going this year, everything except eggplants as I am allergic to them. We have Grape vines everywhere. a huge patch of Gooseberries that are about 35 years old now! We have blueberry bushes and one is 12 feet high! we need a ladder to pick the fruit! I can, freeze, dehydrate and freeze dry all of it!.... plus we bless all our neighbors. God bless your garden James and God Bless Tuck with good health and long life. Nancy

He's created a consistently ideal environment for trillions of microscopic workers to, for example, break down and deliver nutrients to his plants. It's a self-organizing system that gets better every year, creating healthier plants, which are in turn more resistant to all types of stress whether heat, cold, pests, disease etc. Furthermore his schedule of when to plant as well as his utilization of microclimates means he is getting things in the ground as soon as it's possible and consistently filling in gaps.
