A A Bm F#m F#m Holden has got me caught A I never ask for advice E He's got a way of forcin it on you Bm But my heart's as cold as ice F#m And i will not entertain A Even an ounce of anger E I'm happy with all my borrowed words Bm I won't ever return A And this is not my song A And these are not my words Bm I borrowed the guitar Bm And stole all the chords A And these are not my feelings A In fact they're age old Bm learned 'em from a place Bm But mainly they're stole F#m E F#m Stolen by me F#m Lord I've stolen a girl A But it's like stealing a mountain E I've got no place to put it Bm And no hope to climb it F#m I cannot succeed A I cannot catch and release E I said 'man, please take her back' F#m And he said ‘You've sown, now you will reap' A I found a true love A Surely she's ideal Bm She was once my friends Bm But l made a steal A And she loves like a rock A And she's heavy as a stone Bm But it's better than drugs Bm And being alone m A And this is not my song A And these are not my words Bm I borrowed the guitar Bm And stole all the chords A And these are not my feelings A In fact they're age old Bm learned 'em from a place Bm But mainly they're stole A Bm A Bm A Stolen by me
