Wow a song written by someone who actually uses their brain to think and is not afraid to translate it into a song. I don’t know if you make a lot of money with this but you seem like a guy who transcends materialism anyways and your songs are gonna be listened to by generations to come. Also I see this song playing while we slash demons with silver swords whenever that day comes

Jesse, it is such a joy to hear the sounds of the summer in the background of your songs. I'm an Arkansas child that's grown old. I was born in the swamps of Pine Bluff. I spent summers in the Ouachitas. Then I lived in the ozarks for 8 years. It's such a beautiful state. It's a pity the land cursed by blood my Indigenous ancestors. We are in need of some strong medicine in Arkansas. Keep writing those real songs, OK? Peace and love in the natural state!☮️💜🌎

My farm is named after a tree. Sweet Gum trees to be exact. Sweet Gum Mini Farm is our farm. I named it that many years ago because of the massive Sweet Gum trees around and all the bristle balls from them. We also have truly massive Poplar trees here. Take 2-3 people wrapping arms around them to fully encircle the trunks. I love trees and want to cry every time I see them clearing large forests for housing developments. It's happening at a record pace in our area of upstate South Carolina. So horrible.

amazing lyrics, melody and god that dry guitar tone adds the world to the song. Everything just adds and enhances this song, the scenery, audience, acoustics, everything. Beautiful performance, amazing and powerful message, really excelling at an artists job to reflect the times and criticizes and question the authorities.

You're doing courageous work out here, Jesse, and I salute ya. The truth bombs on Patchwork drop hard, and rightly so. And the stringed thing slingers would love know more about that Gibson you play. An LG-2 maybe? It strums so clear and looks so snug.

Jesse writes music that causes otherwise well composed humans to cry uncontrollably at coffee shops. And that is really a very good thing. Thanks bud.
