The name is just what it is “Parks “Old Style” BbQ. The elderly in my family use to frequent this place, the line use to be out the door, hour or more wait… The sauce is vinegar based first off…. I admit they might have changed over the years with the quality & taste because the originals have been replaced over family generations. But Believe it or not in the late 90’s & early 2000 they was hitting. Sorry this establishment couldn’t keep up its Rep

Parks used to be one of the best bbq spots in Detroit back in the day, but remember as the elders die off their kids and grandkids are taking over the business. So the food quality usually goes down cause the kids may not have the same cooking skills and passion that their parents and grandparents did.

I havent had Parks in years... but growing up those rib tips were a delicacy.... they dont taste like any other BBQ ive ever had. The texture has always been hit or miss depending on the piece of meat lolol but i dont know... still a childhood favorite of mine.
