Honestly, I'm hoping they give Sephiroth a "redemption arc" of some sort where he perhaps learns that Jenova _*ISN'T* actually his "mother" and that she's just been using and manipulating him the entire time, so Sephiroth winds up turning on Jenova and near the end, teams up with Cloud and the others to stop Jenova once and for all? After all, prior to the Nibelheim Incident, Sephiroth was very clearly a genuinely good person at heart until he found those books that led him to incorrectly believe that Jenova was his "mother". Maybe even still giving us a "Safer Sephiroth" final boss, but it's just Jenova masquerading as Sephiroth rather than the real thing? Also, I haven't completed Rebirth yet (I'm just shy of reaching Gongaga for the first time) due to other stuff getting in the way.

I don't think they'll do but in part 3 I think it would be so sick if a heroic Sephiroth showed up from another world to fight the main Sephiroth alongside Zack and Cloud, the chances of there being a Sephiroth that never turned evil are actually higher than the chances of there being an evil Sephiroth, Sephiroth's insanity was highly nonsensical, maybe if Zack was more supportive or if Sephiroth just used his brain more than his heart he would have come out of it just fine. Could you imagine Shinra in that timeline? Cloud was someone they could have killed if they wanted to, same with Avalanche but I don't think there's a single thing they could have done about it if Sephiroth decided he was going to destroy all the mako reactors, and it wouldn't even just be Sephiroth, Zack would be helping him out too since both were ready to leave the company prior to the Nibelheim incident.

Not sure how they’ll use it but they’re setting up that there may be two Sephiroth’s one who gave up all his memories except those related to his hatred of Cloud in order to bind his continued existence to Cloud’s memories and eventually revive himself and another that’s made up of all the memories Sephiroth gave up. Don’t know how the other Sephiroth will align with the characters, he could be a white winged heroic character and fight the black winged Sephiroth, he could be a gray character.

I always adored Sephiroth like so many others but it's always a strange feeling to adore a remorseless serial killer. We feel for him yet we don't do the same for any serial killer on our own planet. Sure, one planet is fictional and another is non but perhaps that means we should work on our compassion for all beings ... we don't have to ever condone what they do while still having compassion for someone that does terrible things as a byproduct of the terrible things done to them. ❤❤

Not that being compassionate isnt noble, but it is misplaced. Too easily we forget the victims and the suffering they had to endure. Sephiroth is a fictional character, that we are supposed to be conflicted about and he is also cool, handsome, powerful and mysterious, while also showing few signs of a sense of humor. Almost like the devil in the bible, we cant help but be attracted to him. And he mostly kills faceless underwritten NPCs, we dont really care about. But while in fiction you can give infinte justifications and conditions for somebody to become a serial killer, in REAL LIFE there are exactly 0 good reasons to become one. No matter how much you suffered in life, if you think that gives you the right to hurt others, who arent even at fault for your pain, than there is a certain selfishness to your character.

His combat is astounding. Magic 8-9k unbuffed. Defense high enough to survive rebirth flame. Squarex4 and triangle for telluric fury which does a lotta hits builds atb and limit. Shift slash range damn near off the map also builds limit. Zenshin rising destroys all arms and wings. His parry counter attack took 1/4th of Titan's shield down, unbuffed. Ranged square hold attack can stagger when the bar is near full. Limit break is INSANE AND has a buff. 8000 HP/140 MANA. I've died a lot in to be a hero, but as soon as you learn sephiroth, you can solo all 10 rounds, including Odin. When im shift slashing and see 500, 300, 200 and 100 all in 2 seconds or when im attacking a staggered monster and my basic attack is taking their health down, yikes. They nailed sephiroth. Cant be grabbed by the enemy lol. Can dodge 90% of attacks and impale enemies with hells gate/infernal gate and then theres sword dance that slashes up and pushes you back into position to use pierce, all of which fill limit. Zack's high braver is NUTS but sephiroth is a glass cannon damager, without any glass lol. Has all major magic attacks, cure all, barrier all, re-raise, he's so fun to play after you get even a little familiar.

​@@EvelynL.1112 It was actually because of this game releasing that i finally got the push i needed to finally play the original (and also realizing it's in Steam...) so when i beat it, it was actually kinda shocking realizing One Winged Angel is just his god form (is is "Safer"?) battle theme. Felt like i had been understanding everything incorrectly all along... Well, fair enough, it does seem like after the original game they kinda tried to make it his actual theme. It was also surprising finding out that his human winged form isn't even in the original, either. But that's kind of a given since that's how he is in Smash.

I would assume not. I only have 2 though, so if they hit me it won’t be 3 strikes. Also, I would think I’d get an alert and be able to delete it first or mute it, etc. if you have a ton of copyrighted music up, they would probably have more of an issue with that and just kill the channel.

Actually they're interchanging, if you pay attention, the voice swaps between Cloud and Zack's depending on who actually said the line in the real events.
