Man you needa play super mega baseball 3. It’s damn good. Simple and fun to play. And a pretty deep customization suite too. Has a franchise mode. I’ve gotten more attached to my team and player than I care to admit. I’ve been heart broken when my favorite player set the record for most home runs in a season. Then choked in the World Series. But another player stepped up and nearly won it all by himself. Only for him to go on a tear the next year. And my favorite player continue to struggle.

The premise of this game takes me back to the GameCube (and probably more current versions) of Super Mario Baseball. You have a team, challenge rivals, recruit, and then challenge the highest rival (aka. Bowser). Its like Backyard sports looked at that game, slapped some graphics and aged their old assets to be teens, and copied the concept. The GC Mario baseball came out in 2005. I am not saying that is what happened...but its possible.

Don't know if you'll see this but since you're doing old sport games you should do "Little League World Series Baseball 2010" haven't seen many videos on it but is a good game and such a fun game from my childhood

You should 100% play the 2004 version of backyard baseball for the 360 or PS2. There are many players that you can unlock and its not super easy nor to difficult. Its one of those games where all the attributes ACTUALLY matter, not one where just power and speed do. you should give it a shot. I think you could make a fun season mode in it, just dont pick to many pro players then it becomes to easy ;)
