The last caller on this program hit the nail on the head. The type of campaign that the Labor Party engaged in was sentimental and the youths with no knowledge of how elections are won focused on winning because of what the Presidential Candidate was telling them. The Youths that followed the LP candidate were out for revenge because they were constantly told that they were being neglected in the system. Therefore, they believed that the LP party was the party to beat all over the country because of the total number of youths that registered to vote in the country in the elections. Most of the crimes committed during the elections were perpetuated by the youths of Nigeria whose future was the most talking point of all the presidential candidates. Notably sad was the fact that the LP injected the ideas of Labor Unions into politics and hence the Leaders will threaten to shut down the nation like the place of work if their demands were not met in any of the election results. The Party Lawyers echoed this idea when they moved to the INEC office to make demands with threats of members taking the street to protest if not allowed access to the election materials. Nigerians and the security agencies should expect these threats may be executed in the real sense if and when the courts make decisions on cases they will be hearing.
