When healthy and active Anthony Davis is one of the most impactful players on both ends of the court. But just how far can he take the Los Angeles Lakers?

@@thekidshere6955 True, but it feels like they’re not exploring his full potential sometimes. Feels like putting him next to Dwight Howard was the peak of AD’s offensive value and help side defense, and recreating that with a competent big man would be really cool to see before Davis enters his twilight years.

That's been his game since he's been here. The exact reason he is arguably a top 5 talent in the league, when he gets in that zone the Lakers are a tough out

His passing out of the double team has improved exponentially to where teams don't do it much anymore. Last year teams were able to scheme him out offensively by doubling after Nick Nurse and the Raptors laid the blueprint and he wasn't countering well. It's the most improved part of his game.

I can't see why he's not able to do well against both Jokic & Sabonis. I don't think it's because they're better than him. Something is missing in our analysis. He has done well against Embiid. Do you think that both Jokic & Sabonis are better than Embiid? I don't even think that it's about one on one match-up either. We have to look at whenever the Lakers are playing against either the Kings & Nuggets. What are the strategies being used to nullify AD'S overall effects ? Ham is the problem, not AD, in my view. Ham has no clue on how to utilize AD, especially whenever either Mike Brown and Michael Malone adjust and readjust their game plans for AD. So folks,in my view, it's about Ham's cerebral deficiency. He had been schooled on so many occasions that I don't think that he'll ever graduate.

I see why he gets dominated by jokic cuz jokic is simply the best offensive player in the game and he perfectly nullifies everything AD offers by having a goat level passing game to go along with his post offense. I don’t get Sabonis tho cuz he’s just a budget jokic
@chiggsytube
@chiggsytube Ай бұрын
Jokic is, in fact, better than him. I know, I know, it's weird to think Jokic is the best player in the game. We should expect him to outplay people, right? The difference between Embiid and AD and Jokic and Saba is that eventually the banging will injure Embiid and AD. Joker and Saba can bang like that indefinitely,

I don't think injury can be a determined factor in concluding who's better. However, availability includes injury in factoring stats credibility. But it can't determine who's the best.

A basketball player is required to play both offense and defense. It’s truly unique to be an elite offensive and defensive player. They’re unicorns. Interesting how today’s public narrative is that elite offensive players are considered better players than players that are elite at both ends. Being elite at one half of the game is better than being a wholistic elite. Interesting.
