Recovery charges would go up significantly. Costs to operate a helicopter can easily run $2K to +$3K per flight hour.

7 years watching Garrett, 4 something years watching Matt, and the thing I notice and admire about both of these men is how well they treat everyone around them, from the great teams they build, their customers, fans, business partners, families, fellow KZbinrs, etc., everyone is treated with respect and kindness. The helicopter is a Schwiezer 300 of which I have memories, some f them even good memories, learning to fly in one of those, shall we just say …a long time ago. There is a good chance you can drive back to Utah faster than you can fly it home. I’m pretty confident it will do ok from FL to about Albuquerque, after that it’s the Wild West with the winds and turbulence on the high desert plains. It would be solid entertainment to see Matt take flight lessons in that.

One advantage Matt has, and I don't think he realizes it, is from all those recoveries on some pretty dangerous trails has given him the ability to judge distance really well. I've watched him pull vehicles out of some bad spots...and always does it...overcoming problems on the fly. I think he will be a great race driver, especially after 20 laps or so in. Good luck Matt...can't wait ti see the helicopter on your roof....lol

Racing compound Nitto tires are awesome once they are hot but scary how poorly the stick when cold. Just like off roading, so much of it is in the tires. I appreciate Matt joining with other KZbin channels so I find new channels to watch that I would not have found otherwise.

Winning the helicopter could be huge for Matt’s off road. He or one of his guys could get their license, it’s not a turbine helicopter so attaining that license isn’t insanely expensive. They could use it to go recon jobs so they know exactly what vehicle, equipment, and people they need to execute the recovery.

Matt i used to race that track . The trick to a fast lap is stay on the wall till you come into corner 1 the track entrance then come in low let off gas for a split secont and coming out of two cash the gas all the way around . Watch coming out of 2 IT'll want to suck you into the wall but 3 and 4 run wife open .

Hey Matt, Glad y'all had fun in my home state, you didn't find out good sugar sand, it's farther north on the beaches from Panama City to Pensacola, it's very white, and non aired down 4x4s get stuck in it on flat ground. I have played in Utah sand and can say it don't matter which sand you are in, just flatten the tires and if it still will not go, flatten them more. I think you learned that with the world's largest wreck on that hill that it would not climb until you dropped them lower.

I used to race mini stocks on a quarter mile oval. We were topping out at probably 52 mph, but with all paneling, insulation, carpet etc stripped out of the car to make it as light as possible and running 6 inches away from the cars beside you, in front of you and behind you, it felt like you were going ludicrous speed, go! Fun as all get out, you're going to have a good time!
