Yes, HiFiMan Arya Organic sounds divine, I liked them more than HiFiMan HE1000SE. I immediately threw the wire out of the box because the wire is really crappy. I also don't like how difficult it is to take off and put on ear pads. I would like the ear pads to be on magnets so that they can be easily removed. As I was told in HiFiMan that you can't vacuum the drivers, otherwise they can be damaged. Dirt from the fabric can be carefully removed with a sticky roller or adhesive tape. Otherwise, HiFiMan Arya Organic are top-end headphones.

dtz1000, It all depends on which audio amplifier you connect your headphones to. HiFiMan Arya Organic due to its ability to transmit sound from the amplifier as accurately as possible, these headphones should only be connected to high-end amplifiers, such as FiiO K19, Topping DX9 and other analogs. Not with any HiFiMan Arya Organic amplifiers can sound good. C FiiO K9 Pro ESS HiFiMan Arya Organic do not sound very good, and the sound is synthetic, the bass is loud and disgusting. For mid-range amplifiers, HiFiMan Arya Organic is not needed, they will not be fully revealed. Connecting HiFiMan Arya Organic to a high-level amplifier, you will hear sounds at a very high level, you can even hear the difference in bit depth, sample rate, built-in filters: Fast, Slow, Apodizing, Mini, Mini Slow, Hybrid Fast, Brick Wall, how the wire affects the sound. If you have no idea what this sounds like, listen through my nickname.

Unless the phrase original Arya was referring to the stealths? It's all so confusing, but it feels like the stealth was straight up forgotten. The good thing about the stock cable is that it adds just enough bass to make music more enjoyable. Bought an aftermarket OpenHeart XLR to 3.5mm cable thinking it would be an upgrade. The result was the opposite. While the openheart cable had great build quality, it quite literally removed bass from the music. Had to switch back to the stock one. As for the problems, they are the same as Z mentioned. Had the connections come off quite a few times because the splitter caught underneath the desk while getting up.

I hope Dirac ART comes to it. Don't know why it wouldn't but the A1H did what I thought was BS from every reviewer I've seen. It made my room far more immersive. The electronics being so quiet, the power, and DLBC is phenomenal. It's far better than Audyssey. I have been waiting for this review. I don't really need it since I already bought one but I was curious to see your reaction. I agree with the cable, Hifiman is always bad with cables. I put a Hart Audio cable on it as soon as I got it. I can also confirm that it does not come with anything besides the plain cardboard box that is fitted to it a little bit at least, the foam pulls out to be a stand, and the crappy cable. They sell a branded case which I got thinking it would have some fitted foam or something but it's just open inside, kind of a waste. So anyway, I had been happy with my headphone collection but then I went to Japan on vacation last December. I'm not from a large city and I've not seen any store carry demos for headphones especially not the higher end ones. In Kyoto, we found a store with every audio product I could imagine. Even better was there were demos out for nearly everything and we could just hook up our phones to them to hear our music on them. Even the ones that needed an amp had one and an input to use. We demo'ed everything we could there and the Arya Organic were ones we kept coming back to. I love the bass shelf on them and everything just sounds as good as the recordings themselves. After getting home I kept thinking about biting the bullet and getting a set. I also saw the initial reviews of the Modhouse Tungstens. In the end I decided I didn't want another hard to drive set as I already have the Modhouse Argons and that lead me to get a Topping A90 to drive everything. For now I'm happy with the Organics as my end game and I have the Emu Teaks as my closed end game set.

I don't have much issue with the stock cable. Coincidentally, I watched your Nano review with my Arya Stealths using the stock cable (moved on to KPH 30i for this vido). Feeling regret having paid full price for the Stealths what seemed to be just days before prices started dropping through the floor, but whatever, I'll still use and enjoy them. My cable request to headphone manufacturers would be one single-ended cable (permanent 1/4", not coiled because I'm not a studio engineer or DJ) and one balanced, with both cables THE SAME LENGTH. I'm talking to you, Meze. And not 15 feet like HD8XX and a lot of the Fostex and Denon headphones. The balanced one I would grudgingly accept 4.4 for portable (two of my four DAPs have 4.4. output) and I have a nice 4.4 > XLR adaptor for desktop use (only ONE of my eight desktop HP amps outputs 4.4. You know who sold me headphones with two cables of the same length, one SE and one balanced? It was Focal and Massdrop. The Elex were one of my first headphones and still one of my favorites. I kept thinking about them during this review. They are my "event" headphone, although I think of them as my "special occasion" headphone. They are open, open, open, but without being wider than my HD8XXs. They draw outside sound in, so I have to wait for relative silence in the house (no A/C, furnace, washer, dryer, dishwasher, shower). And the detail is soooo good, and they are fast and light in much the same way you described the Organics. My Arya Stealths are probably the closest thing I've heard to my Elex. Edit: I really came here to say, “Stupid sexy Flanders.”

If it’s permanently affixed, would want it balanced. There is no more hash and the vocal sounds a little closer. Watching big concerts or listening to live records with these headphones is amazing. Even sh*tty vlogs on KZbin sound great via the Organic.

Of course it's the whole chain, as well. Amp, source, etc. and cable, and your ears.

@@trongthuc9xsupercar I see, that's a good choice for sure. I have two Hifiman Planars and a Fostex one, and they all need a really robust good amp otherwise, it's not even worth plugging them in. I've used my IFI XCan amp too, which is good, but really I prefer to plug the Hifimans into a good desktop amp.

What do you guys like to use to disinfect your headphones without destroying the "leather" pads? I need to do it once in a while cause my head is gross and should clean my headphones? Just basic disinfectant wipes?

I have the arya stealth and love the bass (could always use more) and how every instrument feels seperted. It is a bit sibilant to me though... can anyone make a suggestions that would be better? Thanks.

LOL This cable is like the one came with Deva Pro except 3.5mm L shaped TRS cable. Well, I will DIY 2 cables with split 3.5mm TRS split plug Such cable coming with $1300 headphones is a shame.

Zeos... do you have plans to review "Hifiman Shangri-La Senior Electrostatic Headphone System" ? Now that is a serious headphone system... if somewhat absurd.
@ArthurBugorski3 ай бұрын
The mini is new an actually affordable version of it. Solid state, under $3k. I hope he covers it since I'd like to pick out an electrostatic system.

Buying a hifiman product is like buying a racecar thats just seat, tube chasis, and a steering wheel attached to some formula 1 engine, not even a windsheild. I aint investing in that thing, build longevity really matters when you daily something

I don't get the hype. People go on about wanting neutrality and complain about headphones being "too warm" among other issues, and then this thing comes out with boosted treble and bass and everyone is over the moon about it. What music are you listening to on this? I demoed them. Great for EDM and daft punk related music, but so bright it messes with timbre with that boosted treble for actual instruments. It is a specialist at best for electronic music imo. Arya Electro would have been a better name.

What is organic about these headphones? And is the sound of Organic 2x better than the normal Arya?
@harackmw3 ай бұрын
From what I can tell it is only marketing. I demoed them and they were way too bright for me. Bass was nice, I suppose it could be nice for EDM and music with well controlled treble but it messed with timbre too much for me for real instruments.

I’ve owned Organic and have listened to a friend’s Arya Stealth. The overall presentation is noticeably better on the Organic. Stealth had a forwardness to the vocals that always felt kind of weird compared to the rest of the music, while the Organic was more natural in this regard. The bass is also noticeably improved with more oomf and body.
