Pay attention to what were even talking about before you go on a rant. We were talking about players with ego problems. What champ a person picks the most, is completely unrelated to wether or not people have confirmation bias. Theres sterotypes and shit about yas players for instance but come on. Every champ has players that arent capable of learning. Secondly, if you cant win games on sion your probably just not good at keeping your hp up and looking for an all in. THIRD, "dont pretend that if you say and read meta and purchased skins that your winrate" There are FOUR silly things wrong with this dude. "Dont pretend" Whose pretending? Why did you @me with this completely off topic nonsensical shit? "Say and read" This ones minor, almost not worth mentionening, but weird word choice. And also neither of those technically effect a persons winrate at all, PLAYING Meta would. Because your right theres things that are just objectively better and honestly I find that to be a inherently bad for game design its pretty stupid. The amount if power gap from the worst champs to the best. "Purchased skins" this also has no impact on your game except for super low elo, and then like, low plat where misreading a visual can still happen and can still cause a death

With Garen, you can actually jump Yorick's cage by using Q on a champion or minion on the other side of the cage. He minijumps to do his silence. Not the most reliable, but you can pull it off if Yorick's just hitting you from the other side of the cage's wall.

I would've loved to see introducing him to the "stop" (s) command would've done a lot to his farm/lane control, you can clearly tell from his mouse behaviour that hes trying to keep garen "busy" not not mess up the wave but he kinda crowd controls himself like that. Great coaching tho! really enjoyed you treating him patiently.

Order it in most occurring newbie run-ins and maybe some beginner champ selects. Never put rank and coaching together, i know silvers who know exactly what they need to be doing and if you ask them for advice on the game they'll give you the correct answer to a ''high level'' knowing your shit and putting into practice in your own gameplay are two very different things.

Games like starcraft generally attracts smarter people overall because its not a quick reward game like most things nowadays and it takes a lot of time and practice to learn. League attracts dumb people who think the game is about fighting constantly and not using your brain. People who will do the same thing 10k times in a row even though it fails and expect better results. Also I’d say gamers in general were smarter back in the day before gaming was mainstream, now it’s not mostly “nerds” playing and that’s why league has so many mechanically decent people who think they’re good cause they can kill in lane often but don’t know what to do with a 20k gold lead. It took me many many many years to start using my brain in this game

I think the main reason is the fact that league reinforces all of these behaviours by making the parts of the game that actually matter actually kind of boring and unattractive to the average person compared to flashy mechanical outplays and getting fed through loads of kills, which generally gives people the most enjoyment and leaves them wanting more. People look at the other aspects of the game and ignore them out of laziness more than anything really

That’s an excuse to not play the game properly, I’m a hyper aggressive player but realised I had to learn to play slow and properly before I can start being aggressive. If it’s not working, you’re doing it wrong. Excuses just hold you back. I stopped blaming teammates for losses even if I had 4afks and that’s how you always find ways to improve. Even if it’s their fault, it’s not cause you could’ve done more.

Garen question, it doesn't happen in this game but I've been wondering anyways. Why does every single garen player always go to the 2nd bush in lane at the start. Every single garen every single time, starts the laning phase from hiding in the 2nd bush. I don't see how it's any more beneficial than any other champion doing it; but not every champion goes to the bush, where as 100% of the time Garen players are in that bush.

Because every single garen does it, you can always guarantee they're in that bush to start lane. But every champion basically could do a quick cheesy damage; except they don't do it. Where as 100% of garens do it. So I figures there must be something garen specific, or some youtube guy said it once and now every garen player has seen that video

@@xiariser-213 When a Garen starts q and runs at you from the middle bush, q's you and runs away, you can't really retaliate thanks to the silence he applies. This is basicly a free trade before lane even begins.(at least that's what I think). Also when you play Garen and an enemy almost face checks you, they get the q->e->ignite->r special, so they might be just more used to it than people who play other champs.

I ran into the limit of malphite in low elo lol. I can pretty much win ALMOST every lane but I end up not being able to do enough damage to actually carry if it’s necessary. Which sucks cause he is legit my favourite champion. So now I’m actually forced to re try some older champions I used to use so I can actually carry if the need arises. Having a tanks great till it’s not lol

Not sure if I'd fully agree with saying that. If you're good enough, say a smurf, you could even go full AP and literally 1v5. And also with the right runes and build Malphite can have 58% winrate in silver being a mediocre/average player, which can be enough to climb without even being good. I think in the end it's just about getting your role as a tank being fulfilled in the game as a whole first, and then overkilling it, and not just winning your lane. Think about good flanks, big ults, tps for fights and drakes, splitpushing, farm denying, getting your enemy top laner AND jungler behind, there's so much more to the game than winning your lane and if you're playing a champion that isn't super hard the odds are the main issue is not the champion. It's one of the reasons why I liked watching a few of Neace's videos so much, like when he coached that Ornn and Mundo on how to be a great tank or when I realized I was supposed to ruin not only the enemy top laner's game and then stare at them in the face under turret but also destroy their jungler's game, then their team's.

@@BrianSantosF I have a 3.36kda, 43%kp and a 60wr on him rn and that's a little low lol cause ive had a rough 2 days. I only have 50 games this season on him though. I know hes good. but mostly as a tank. when I got stuck with mid one time I used him anyways and went like 17kills but it wasn't nearly as viable imo. idk str8 ap would be terrible at least for me. and mostly with people with a lot of healing like WW or special buffs like gnar: it can be difficult to actually play. at least for me. maybe try seeing what my knowledge on the champ is first before diving head first into assuming I know nothing about him though lol. I'm not mad just saying lol. but ya I mean I just find myself frustrated a lot that I cant be the big consistent damage dealer like someone like jax or volibear or even nasus or yorik like ive played in the past. malphite is more of a burst damage dealer beside his w and I find myself needing to be tanky more often then I need to be the one who does some burst damage. especially cause people try spreading out a lot when I play as him lol to avoid the group ult. so I'm basically jumping head first into and bursting 1-3 people about 60-70% of the time and now im in the mid of everyone and I hate having to rely on zhonyas in that situation. I'm not expecting to hard carrying with some of the aforementioned characters every game because I don't think I'm a god. but I think their potential and worth as people who do damage while not sacrificing their bruiser capabilities like jax or tankiness like volibear is better. malphite is more situational for my team needing a tank. I see your point. like I know he can carry, he can do damage, he can burst people, but often I find in my games that the tradeoff for the damage is usually not worth it for the tankiness I lose.

Cant tell.. been placed iron 2 after 4 years off league (went straight to ranked my normal mmr was way too high for my rusty self).. I was terrible but it took me like what.. 10 games to get out? Then 30 more to get back to silver.. peoples in iron are very VERY bad. Like you can auto attack them to death at lvl 1.

I know it sounds weird , but this just another proof. If you are good, but not diamon level good, you cant carry a game just knowing what are you doing. You cant get out of bronze, because your mechanics aint flawless, you are not a macro Fiora god, your teammates breath through mouth, and the enemy team full with boosters. Just cant get out of bronze and you cant play the game properly.

I used to have a thresh main that was like bronze / silver some years ago. One game I popped off in a normal game, and Riot rewarded me by permanently banning my account. They thought I was cheating. On a hardstuck bronze account, in normal games. When I tried to go to support, Riot was convinced I was cheating despite the account being the polar opposite of a cheater or booster. I was younger at the time and completely unleashed all my anger on the Riot support guy, it happened so many years ago but I still want that account back. I'm still not sure if I just x5 report trolled, or if some program was running in the background at the time that Riot flagged, but it's only ever happened to me once.
