Not always agree with Marks string reviews but he is on point with this one, I carry Diadem at my stringing business and I really love Diadem strings but they don’t hold tension, great for frequent string breakers but not for those who wanna go 3 months on a restring. I recommend Solstice Power on mains hybrid with Diadem Flash on crosses, great combo for consistency and spin potential

doesn't this string feel like plastic with disconnected feel ??

Interesting. I have used this string in a poly poly hybrid and I did enjoy it. I remember you doing a string comparison video with Ian asking with Power, Black, and Pro X...and Ian said the Solstice Power was the lowest power, or at the very least the most muted feeling so perceived power "felt" low. Was that also your experience?

What’s the difference between a co poly and a polyester
@James-qv1dr7 ай бұрын
A co poly has other materials mixed into the string to "improve" the characteristics of the string. It's still all personal preference though. Almost every poly these days are co polys, but you can still buy older models that are considered full polys.

the only consistent difference for my anecdotal experience is that polys are most expensive than copolys

It's almost exactly my thoughts on the string. It's actually my favorite string for the first hour or two, and then it becomes borderline unplayable. The extra pop after the first couple of hours made too many of my shots go long.
