This is ONE way to get free wood for a firewood business. Is it worth it?

There are many ways to acquire logs for firewood production. For me, in my area, this is one of the top ways to get wood for free. Word of mouth is a powerful thing. Let folks know you desire logs, and they will call. Make sure to answer and do it in a timely manner.

Power company and town have been clearing trees along the powerlines. Lots of free wood!

My personal opinion (take that for what it's worth), is that it's ABSOLUTELY worth the little time and labor investment to have the free wood. I'd do that all day long!
