I have watched your channel for almost 2 years. ( I am a late bloomer) There are 2 things that have endeared me to you and your family. One, the love and compassion you all had, and continue to have, was during the tornado in your town and area. The second is...your love of Jesus. I like the name "Arms Family Journey". After all, life and what we do with it really is a journey. I really enjoyed this episode. I love watching both your channels. With being housebound and recliner/bedbound for the past 10 1/2 years, after moving from CT to FL to take care of my elderly Dad, my friends have gone on with their lives without me. I can't really blame them for that. Any activity makes my ME/CFS worse, so I only go out for doctors appointments a couple of times a year and occasionally get rushed to the local ER. Watching you on your wonderful channels helps me feel like I am visiting with friends....and that helps me more than you know. I never imagined that my life would be this painful and beyond exhausting with an incurable, untreatable disease at 70 years old. Go after your dreams and hold onto your family and friends closely. We never know what tomorrow brings. Grab as much out of life as you possibly can because tomorrow isn't promised. Never forget to tell your loved ones that you love them each and every day while you can. Be happy. With loads of love, prayers, and gentle hugs for y'all and your critters too. Daniel you and DJ have literally found your niche and you don't even realize it. Your niche is that you show yourselves as the real family oriented people that you are, your not trying to portray what you are not and that is why people gravitate towards your channels and your not afraid to show the unpopular side of your lives like hunting, trapping, skinning fish,etc. Your not scared to show your young son learning gun safety and proper law abiding hunting techniques and you also show the normal of football games and music y'all like and all the farm animals even though there more like pets which is amazing to see. I remember being 6 living in England on an Air Base and my dad was sitting nuclear alert during Christmas. We waited upstairs got served breakfast in bed till dad got home. We didn’t get to see the tree till dad got home. I had a lot health problems at that age but boy that Christmas memory is still so fresh like it happened yesterday.

I absolutely love your channel!!! The window into your lives is such a wonderful picture of yourselves!!! Mow down more trash trees!!! I love watching that!!! My youngest son bought a homestead here in Franklin Texas 4 years ago. There were cows on the land that another farmer was grazing there. So the ag exemption was already in place!!! He finally moved into the house that he and my daughter in law finished last August 2022. Through all of that time I helped him with the cat they had and the dog he got for the gophers that were trying to move in in 2023. In March of 2023 he moved me up to Franklin. In April 2033 my 100 year old mom died. My son and I and my oldest son went to her internment ceremony in Santa Fe NM. On May 16th 2023 my youngest son was killed in a car accident. In November 2023 my daughter (in law) killed herself out of grief. The puppy died after she got away from her sitter as I was acclimating the cat to my house. I miss the homestead very much!!! Watching what you are doing on your homestead is soothing to me. Especially the chickens and birds. Yuka was raising chickens and collecting eggs. Luckily the homestead was bought by a young couple that is really doing a beautiful job managing the property!!!

Also, I do like the variety that you do, and how seasonal the topics are. Personally, (and I've said this before) I do miss the goat raising videos. I got my goats because of your content mostly, so yeah, I'm kinda more invested in that. But, I like most of what you do. I'm at such an opposite side of the line from you guys. Single. I've worked for one company for 29+ years and hope to retire from them in 9 more. In that time, I've managed to find and buy my dream property, move out to it, and start my farm with the eye towards raising as much of my own foods as I can and limiting how much I'm dependent on stores.
