Honestly that little bell in that Hyundai brings back memories. Friend of mine in high school had a early Hyundai Sante fe towed in, it was his moms and it was gonna be his first car. But it didn’t start; but it had that little bell. Turns out the starter wire had just disintegrated. Put a new one on and it fired up, that bell noise has a soft spot in my heart. Although worst sound imo is the new Honda Prolouge because it has GM sounds.

i bet money that grey 84 has a short in the steering wheel for the igniton that when you turn it couse it to short out and shut the truck off could be a easy repair

Those Hyundai Accents in that year and body style are great little cars. Great gas mileage super reliable. Perfect first car for a kid, easy to park. Parts are so cheap, easy to work on and share the same platform as the Kia Rio. I still have my 2011 and it has needed nothing but brakes and oil changes.

I'll tell you a story my friend brought one of those Hyundai's brand spanking new he had a couple weeks and he was a heavy drinker and he was behind the bar sleeping one off before driving home and it was a cold night and he had the car idling with the heater on and he felt extreme heat on his feet the car was on fire and burned to the ground and it was like maybe a month old at the most and then the cops thought that he did it on purpose because it was a brand new car and why would it burn up being brand new they just couldn't believe that it would just catch on fire so they tried to say he did it but anyways it found out because he didn't do it that he got you know insurance paid off the car so he was made whole and he bought another car I don't remember what he bought after that but that was his last Hyundai unfortunately.lol

Short in the wiring harness in the steering column. I had a Mercury Marques that had the same problem only opposite. It wouldn't start unless you got the steering wheel in the right position. Had to replace the harnese.

Hey Randy, I just wanted to say that he must really love you, you treat him like a real dad, he looks up to you and he cares tremendously about you. You know, IMO, if he likes the explorer, that would have made a great vehicle for him. He could have fixed it and a great project for you and him. You've given him a strong, stable relationship. He should be on more. Great videos and glad you're doing better! God Bless!

You'd like the Chrysler 300. The headroom is way better than the Cadillac and you can get the Hemi in it. I like the look better than the Dodge Charger. On the F150 the switch is located on the line from the power steering pump but you probably already knew that. It's nice, I wish I had it. I'd do it up two tone fire engine red with white on the side and Crager wheels.....oh yeah!

The OLD F150! There is a short or a loose wire in the ignition switch. I had a 1983 Mercury LN7 that did the same thing. I replaced the switch and it worked like a charm. I know Randy is probably familiar with a LN7, you guys will most likely have to Google it. It was a 2 seater hatch back on the Ford Escort chassis. The Ford version was the EXP…..

Hey Randy I would love to see that 1984 F-150 come to the channel I think it would be really cool to see you fix it up have it painted it's just a charcoal gray that's been faded and it looks kind of blue but I remember that charcoal grey with the red back then in 84 that's pretty cool it has fuel injection that's was like I think the first year that they put fuel injection on the truck cuz I know the cars didn't come out till about 86 with fuel injection? I think that interior will clean up and I have a sneaky feeling that truck only has 81,000 mi if you look at the brake pedal it doesn't have much where the seats not really wore off it's just dirty it just was a basic probably old man's truck and it just sat outside its whole life that's why it looks so rough but it ain't a dent on the damn thing with the paint job and a cleaning I think you could get that thing and make a profit with it.

Where I live, people pull the plates on decent cars and just leave them on the streets to be hauled away by the city.a It's pain for property owners, because we're the ones who phone in the abandoned cars. They cars can be picked up at the auction center and new title is given. It's a crazy system. On an average walk I'll see four or five of them, some late model cars. Jaguars, Suburbans, Prius, Subarus, I see them all.

I've been watching way too many detailing channels, and the urge is real Red Pontiac Vibe 10:48 - essentially a rebadged corolla. White Kia ceed 11:43 Black VW ID4 11:48 - assuming it's simple fix blue Honda CR-V 23:23 From the video I didn't see significant damage on those.

Man, what a time capsule that F150 is. That Delta toolbox is period, too. I really hope you buy it and fix it up, the truck deserves to be on the road again. Is that an 86? I know Mustangs went to fuel injection in 1986 and in 1987, the F150 was redesigned to have the blocky front end and square composite headlights. I think that the original color was dark gray and it could be the paint that's still on the outside of the truck, it may have just oxidized to that blue color. As others have mentioned in comments, I think that the issue with the truck cutting off could be due to an issue inside the column. BTW, I really liked that Hyundai Accent, too. It's a great, honest commuter car. If you can, can you please show the Suzuki SX4 next to it your next video.

The problem with old ford pickup is really no problem at all. It's just the anti-theft system. As soon as the thief starts his first turn, it shuts down. Of course the owner can't take it either. So on 2nd thought, the problem is the steering controlled anti-theft device.
