PV is fantastic. Beautiful people. Great day trips to other little towns. The more you stay the more you will fall in love with it.

*PV is NOT overrated. It is a true gem. I visit every year 🌴🌊. It has culture, charm, great gastronomy, natural beauty, art, safe & friendly people. It's where the jungle meets the ocean. The real estate ranges from $2.5 million - $25 million US dollars 🏡💰 in Conchas Chinas neighborhood of PV. There is a reason why Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton had a vacation home in Vallarta - it's tropical paradise.* 🤩

That's your first video? Truly impressive. Your cheery attitude is natural and not fake like so many others who are preoccupied by how they look on camera. We're for the places but also the personalities of the presenters so when it looks natural it feels real. You two have a lot of potential. Huge potential. Like top 1% of travel video potential. But I would highly encourage you to do what few others do: Spend time with locals and really get into their head. It can take a while but that's OK. Just list chapters in the Description so people can zip over areas they're not interested in. Understanding local thinking is the main highlight of travel after all. It's what makes a culture breathe; how they really feel about basic things and how it contrasts to our soft, cushioned world. Whoever is picking the music.....has GREAT taste in music. It's harmonically rich and flowing yet never intrudes on the visuals or narration. It's just flawlessly interwoven into the total package.

Thank you! We really appreciate the love and the suggestions. Our goal is to always present an authentic feel to where we are visiting, so seeing a comment like this makes us want to work that much harder to make sure we keep improving ❤️

Great video you two. I lived in PV for three years, back in the early 2000's and wish I could live there forever, but the heat and humidity is way too much for an old dude like me. Glad to see you two having such a great time down there though. Keep up the good work and glad you changed your mind about PV. It truly is a tropical paradise.

The heat there is too much for us too! It's an amazing place but the climate is just a bit intense 😅 thanks so much, we really love visiting there and can't wait to go back

Hola, you guys stopped short of playa conchas chinas. There playa Amapas where you were and about a 5 minute walk south is playa conchas chinas and it's beautiful. Also I don't think PV is overated by any means, there is so much to do here beyond the touristic areas it's insane.
@ChangingLocations Жыл бұрын
Well... 🥲 looks like we'll have to visit again and finish the walk next time to actually get to Conchas Chinas. We have plenty more to see and do, there really is a lot of activities in the area

ITs great you got away from the hotel zone on this trip and got a more Mexican experience. The food is just amazing, we in Canada and the US are not used to the level of freshness when it comes to ingredients. Most food is only 2 stops from farm to table. Fruit is picked when its ripe! I have been to many of the taco stands you went to and they are just amazing! Don’t worry about missing Poncho’s Tacos, I hear many mixed reviews plus I am not ready to stand in line for 30min just to get in. First Vlog was a hit! Well done…
@ChangingLocations Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! For sure, one of the best decisions we made there was to stay in the Romantic Zone, there's so much to see and do in this area ❤️ fully agree with the food, it really tastes way better in Mexico

The marina area is nice- but nothing like real PV. Head downtown, walk all the beautiful streets, enjoy the beach, try one of the many restaurants and bars. And above all, enjoy the Mexican people- the best in the world.
@ChangingLocations Жыл бұрын
For sure, the people and the "real" Puerto Vallarta are the reason we truly loved this place!

You didn't explain why you feel Puerto Vallarta is "overrated." We travel to PV at least once a year and we love it. In no way do we feel it's overrated. It can be too busy with tourists during high season but that's because it's so popular, not overrated.
@ChangingLocations Жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. At the end of the video, we mentioned that we thought it to be overrated because of our first experience there when we didn't really venture outside of the Marina area. We simply did not know enough about this town the first time we came. Our second time around, we saw more of the "real" PV and we saw why people come there, and why we will probably be returning there again. We loved pretty much everything there!
@LC-xd2zy Жыл бұрын
