I’m really glad you did this video. I needed to sit with this today. I can’t even begin to explain what’s going on in my life right now. This year marks an important ending of a 28 year relationship with a highly misogynistic work environment. And a huge recovery period for me. A beginning to whatever comes next for me. And it’s been a real challenge to acknowledge the pain that has come from people wielding power in my life to shedding the anger, and resentment that has caused. Working on healing and acceptance.

I really appreciate you offering a different perspective on both Pluto and Mars, because what's portrayed of them in most astrology media is absolutely a poor resolution image seen through the lens of patriarchy and doesn't resonate at all with my experience with those energies. I work with them as planetary deities, so not exactly the same perhaps but they have tremendous gifts to offer, and are, in my experience, the epitome of safe and divine masculine energy. Not to say that learning the lessons they teach are fun and easy, but I think that's pretty standard for lessons right? I think that moving away from toxic masculinity is only going to be possible when there's an awareness of what it looks and feels like to do it differently, and your perspective feels like a part of that, so thank you for putting it out there!

Absolutely excellent. 👏👏👏👏 The growth must start with us, the mirror, in order for the collective to shift. We, not looking inward, delay and place obstacles to the collective. I also concur with your conclusion, it will and is messy. Yet that’s not the whole story. Upheaval in the external, leads to transformation of the internal. The focus, for me, is Pluto. I’m really feeling this - had no idea it was a product of mars opposite Pluto though. Just this morning I was thinking of how humanity seems to create pain by making things fit into boxes for example, I just got my kitty spayed and she has to wear a cone around her neck, and it just hit me, this is what we humans do, we cause pain, we manipulate with our power. Another example is me, I have adhd and so does 3 of my children - society tells us we need to change how our brains work so we can fit in to society/what’s considered normal. I see it now, this is the ugly side of Mars, the power struggle, and Pluto, doing its job of exposing and transformation. As always, thank you Iris! So much gratitude for you 💚

I do want to remind us that yes one power model is white supremacy, but there is also black supremacy models, muslim or christian supremacy, etc etc. It’s just supremacy overall based on ones gender, race, or religion or ethnicity.Of course in our country - The US white supremacy is obvious, but I wanted to remind us that “supremacy” shows up in a lot of other forms too. I have a mars + mercury pluto + chrion opposition and I don't agree with fear mongering but I agree this position can be explosive lol I haven't personally experienced the beauty of this placement for years. Probably when I was a small child. Not everyone with this placement has intense trauma but it's very common to find that which sucks. At present, NA is on the pedestal, certainly being shared with many other world cultures. Societal, individual and cultural abuse ends when, “we” look in the mirror.
