I agree. I would also add that Andrews is a human being, and they make mistakes. Some of the rhetoric here should be more restrained. It can be "unforgivable" in the sense that maybe he deserves to be cut, demoted or traded. But he should be forgiven as a human being, who dropped the ball...which because it was so extremely cold, gets much more slippery not to mention your fingers become numb at that temp. As a society, we need to be more forgiving or at least more understanding.

Too much disrespect on the bills for forcing the turnovers. It lead the offence to not have to put up anything too flashy. That’s the Joe Brady scheme this year. Keep possession and score and don’t let the other team have the same opportunities. Bills coaching staff knew that the “talent” was less after losing players in the off season and had to adjust the team to give them a shot at winning games. Gg ravens
@colmecolwag3 сағат бұрын
I think, historically, turnovers in general usually have more to do with the offense making mistakes than the defense making great plays. There's usually not a lot of correlation year to year between great defenders/defenses forcing turnovers as much as there is offensive players giving them up. But also the Bills still played a hell of a game and took advantage of those situations when they came up, and a lot of lesser teams screw that up.

However, when the score was 21-19 in the third quarter it may have been better to go for the point instead of two then. If the Bills have a 3-0 advantage in turnovers against the Chiefs, the Bills will up by three scores and the Chiefs will be done. The Chiefs may very well beat the Bills, again, but if you take the best the Bills have played this year, the best the Ravens have played this year and the best the Chiefs have played this year and measured them against each other, the Chiefs would come in third. It is the coach team(play call) who messed up. In such an important game, the last vital play, you could not leave to a player who is obviously not in his mode (it is not his fault, it happens). The coach team should notice it and make change. You have two of the best runners in the league, and you choose to pass to a TD who just dropped ball in the game. Are you serious? The coach team made mistakes last year playoff. And this year again. In this extreme weather and road game, it is obvious you need to run your ball. But Lamar was disappeared in the running and Henry also not in the critical play. While Bills played great running. Whet the hell is Ravens’ coach team thinking.

I was rooting for the Bills the whole way, but as a straight up football fan I gotta say - don't hate on Andrews. The Ravens had more issues than him missing either catch, it ended up being a hell of a slug-fest win or lose, the Bills were also playing a conservative game plan... yeah, he was unfortunately the one who dropped the ball that cost the game, but it was a game the Ravens only got to be in because he was an absolute machine all season for you guys. You think you feel bad about it? He's gotta be going to bed tonight feeling like he saw a big red button, pushed it, and then it dropped a piano on his mom. Nothing you can say or do or dump on him could possibly make him feel worse than he does right now. You want to know how he dropped it? Watch the replay. Yeah he was open, but he was outside in the freezing cold and the snow, turning sideways to try and trap it even as his feet were going out from under him, a yard short when he was thinking he had to have a bit more after the catch... could you have not only caught that ball but made the lunge it needed to get the points? Dude left a pair of two yard long skid marks in the snow just making the attempt, jesus. He had the ball in his breadbasket and was focusing on tucking it in when his feet went out from under him, you can see it in the replay. Kid did everything he could to reel that in, it went wrong, not his fault. Lamar hadn't had the fumbles and the whole thing never even comes up in the first place...

Although I do get the reason why receivers drop when trying to catch a ball, I don't think Mark needed to act like that ball was a 300 lbs cannonball. No reason to fall like that.
@bgruy3 сағат бұрын
as was the case a few years ago when the Bills defense couldn't hold the Chiefs from scoring in :56 secs, Baltimore drove it right down the field and scored. Mark Andrews had 4 drops all season - he should have caught that one...says the guy on the couch not playing in front of 70,000 fans on a snowy, bitterly cold and wind-blown evening in Buffalo. in his defense, Jackson did kinda allegator-arm it to him.

maturing is realizing it wasn't all Andrews fault. Lamar turned the ball over twice in embarrassing fashion. The interception was basically a pass to the bills and then he bobbled a snap and fumbled IN THE SAME PLAY. Anyone who says its all Andrews fault is too blind to see that the "MVP" level qb that they glaze like crazy, costed them the season js as much as Andrews did.

Maturing is realizing you need to grow up and stop hating on Lamar Jackson's success and get your own. People like you are a waste of life!
@HelpMeHelpMePlease3 сағат бұрын
Here's the real maturity since yall like to throw that nonsense around so carelessly now. They had 3 turnovers. You can't win as a team with three turnovers. You realize Lamar got a high snap play and did his best to do something with it. Albeit he should've definitely just gone down, that doesn't excuse the fact it happened. Regardless of your thinking it wasn't Andrews fault or not, it was everybody involved on the Ravens team. Especially those two costly plans in the fourth quarterback committed by Andrews. Bless his heart indeed, but he still committed a costly fumble. The 2-point conversion could've saved him from that fumble, and we wouldn't even be discussing it. The 2-point conversion drop just amplified the fourth quarter fumble. U

I feel for Andrews I do. He's a great player and his teammates seem to love him but man that sucks. Only had 4 drops all year and hasn't had a fumble since 2019. Weather played a big factor. With that being said, there is definitely more blame than just Andrews. Lamar had 2 key turnovers, there were other drops, they abandoned the run way too early, and Harbaugh should have never gone for 2 in the 3rd. Ravens were lucky it wasn't 28-10 or 24-10 going into the half. Bills had their drive derailed over a phantom hold after Lamar's interception.

As a ravens this is just getting old. We will be keeping majority of the team next season. Only dudes who we have to resign is Ronnie stanley and Ardarius Washington. please nobody should blame andrew for the ravens losing this game, even if he caught the ball, it would only tie the game and go to overtime, and there was no guarantee the ravens would have won the game. The ravens were fumbling, not throwing accurate passes and not catching the ball the whole game. first half was crappy, sure the weather was terrible, but if you are playing to win and get to the superbowl, you cant afford to make mistakes that your opponent takes advantage of. lamar is a lightout player in the regular season, but come playoff, he barely shows up
