@@filippachucki4022 Its faster and easier to build a course on. Clients arent confused on where to learn and how, they just log in and go. Kajabi wants to be. master of everything which means they are. amaster of none. Skool has one focus which means sam has made it solve every problem people have with kajabi. Plus kajabi costs way more and isn't worth it for what you get.

If he creates an affiliate program (which I’m sure he will) it would probably be for referring other course creators/agency’s rather then students, since it’s free for students but paid for the person creating the community.

Skool looks very promising, but I have 3 core questions/objections regarding skool: - Can you use skool to schedule (paid) 1-on-1 calls or is it always for the entire group? (I'd love to have all my community related scheduling in one place with no need for zoom, etc..) - Can you have one community on skool that's free to join and on top of that a gated community for paying members who receive access to a (different) course? - Can you embed the community discussion on your own website like you can with Circle and can you use your own domain name? On an additional though less important note (especially when you can have your own domain name): I think the name "skool" isn't the best, because let's face it: Who really wants to go back to school? At least that's my take.

- No - Yes -Technically Yes, I embedded Skool as a test into our product just to see if it works and embeds work fine with it. You can't embed like a specific threat like you can with twitter, well you could but you'd need to write the function for it (like how circle does it) but overall it's a great circle replacement. It's still early days but I highly recommend it.

sat on his most recent live answering skool questions and someone asked this. his response was something like "he doesn't really want to try to replace zoom because zoom just works too well and trying to compete with them would be unnecessary and complicated software to work with" that may be a huge paraphrase that call was a little minute ago and I didn't record but he didn't try to involve a video call feature intentionally :)

Impressive work! Yet i guess we still have to rely on zoom to really host live video classes and that's a bummer. It may be a useful app for creating a community around your courses and make it more interactive but in the end: you still have to rely on zoom and youtube. I'm not saying it's useless but it feels a bit like all these modern apps: which problem does Skool really solve? So far in my opinion, none (see my points above). Yet it appeals to a modern trend which is the need of being connected with one another. But if you want to sell classes online, you only need a simple website and a pro zoom account. That's it. And why not a KZbin Channel to upload your extra videos beyond live classes. The rest is just fancy trendy (which is not bad! But again is it really usefull? I don't think so). I wish skool had its own video hosting service, a checkout option, no need to rely on external plateforms for videos uploading. THEN it would really be usefull and could actually replace zoom and be a all in one tool for teachers.
