I disagree. She was saying what a lot of people think about Lamar's playing style. It's not orthodox and he doesn't have the passing numbers of some other qb's but so what? If Lamar was on any of those people's favorite team they would be singing a completely different tune. If someone puts together a video of all the times he escapes pressure and makes things happen with his legs and arm they would be really impressed. But it doesn't show up on the stats. If anyone thinks Lamar's isn't a great passing QB watch the video called Lamar Jackson is on another level by Cien Fahey.
@darkerbrother18 ай бұрын
@@richstrobel Lamar did some things sunday that while looking easy and only showing up in the stats as a 39 yard touchdown and a 75 yard touchdown. Were plays only Lamar can make. The pass to Likely. Lamar was completely off the ground and put the ball in the only place it could be caught. That was on a 4th and 7 down. The pass to Flowers. Lamar lined up as a left handed QB. Sold it to the Dolphins defense. At the last second he switched back to right handed and because the defense had already reacted to him being left handed Flowers was wide open. For people who only look at stats. They missed those two plays. Lamar made 8 or 9 plays like that against the Dolphins. You actually have to watch what Lamar does. Lamar's greatness dosent show up in the stats because there is no way to measure what he is doing.

There have been racist undertones for centuries regarding black people with respect to anything relating to leadership, parenting, educational abilities, business management, classical music, and a plethora of other things. However, as a Blackman, I am not willing to judge every statement made by a non-black person or even a black person, as a dog whistle due to racist mindset against black people. Yes, believe it, there are black people who are victims of certain types of socialization, which causes them to prefer a white/Caucasian person to be in certain position of leadership. If they have a black manager, they will give that manager a hard time and if called, they answer, "What" as if they are upset at that manager, but if it is a white person, "It always yes sir, no sir." I was a manager who was not the type who let a position got to my head and be abusive or condescending to the staff. I always remember my mother saying, "Be careful my son how you treat others, because the person you pass on your way up the ladder in life, you can also pass them on your way down as a result of situations sometimes, which are not even of your making for bad things can happen to good people. So, again, my son,be careful to treat everyone respectfully." My father's constant statement to me was, "The person you were disrespectful to today could be the one you sit before in a job interview at sometime in the future." I am upper middle age, and those words of my parents still rings loudly in my mind as if she told them to.me yesterday. So, I always try my best to treat people the way I want to be treated. On many occasions, I went to bat with senior management for the staff, but I had the experience with white folks who thought that I, being a blackman, shouldn't be giving the orders. That was not really a surprise but some of my own black people also behaved that way, while my white management colleagues, some of who were less qualified than I, were not treated like that by some of those very same black people who would respond respecfully, "Yes sir, no sir" to even the lesser qualified white managers. That showed me how socialization can negatively impact the mindset of people of all race and ethnicities, and sadly, many of them don't even realize it. Sometimes, we have to take time to analyze a person's comment carefully. Yes, she could have a racist mindset, but if she hasn't displayed any such tendency or overtly indicate or even vaguely implied it, then we should not should not try to be mind readers. What I came away with is, if Lamar was a statue like type of qb that always sits in the pocket which was the prototypical qb that dominated the NFL landscape for decades, he would have been accepted by many. Heck, even black commentators took with Lamar not been then a consistent pocket passer. Yes, there are folks who have difficulty adjusting to or adapting a new style of anything of importance to them. This commentator is one such person. Unfortunately for her, she left her statement hanging by not adequately explaining then what she meant by saying, "I want my quarterback to be quarterbacky." Thus, leaving her statement to be subjected to the interpretation of the hearer. When I was a workplace trainer, I would always advise employees to never give vague statement to clients/customers or to their own colleagues. It's always best to make a more knowledgeable person handle a situation because once words leave your mouth, it is always subjected to the interpretation of the hearer and there are people who will hear what they think is said and not what they really hear because they are not active listeners. That being said, this lady has simultaneously become infamous and made an impact on the English lexicon for the wrong reason.

The presence of female reporters in the locker room while the players are naked is indecent and only makes the athletes uncomfortable. The guy was the last pick in the draft, and was in the conversation for MVP this year. It's an unbelievable story, and yet tons of people want to see him fail. Why? Because he's unconventional as well. He's not the first round talent that everyone saw coming. He's not a physical specimen. He's not flashy or uber athletic. He didn't go to a juggernaut college program or win national championships. He's unconventional, just like Lamar. There was nothing remotely racist or hateful about what the journalists said. Anyone that's offended and claims it to be racist is only deflecting and projecting their own insecurities and racism.

@@romeod7549 It's the same as modern Day qb. They want a QB that looks like them to dominate. But Allen and Burrow let them down. So they attack Lamar even when he performs.

@wisethabrain1100 they should right. 😂. But that is a regular season award. The afc championship game is irrelevant to this convo. When other great qbs struggled in the playoffs that didn't stop them from winning regular season awards 😂.

@wisethabrain1100 u got cmc? Like i said in the video, nothing is wrong with that opinion. I was more respectful towards her than others. I just disagreed with her take on who should be MVP and her use of not quarterbacky enough 🤷🏾♂️. Her tone when she said it was disrespectful. Not the fact she thinks cmc should be mvp. Thats not the point 🤦🏾♂️😂. If u think lamar shouldn't be mvp thats ok my guy.
