She doesn't just have a voice, her voice is Divine, a Godly or Heavenly gift, A Godsend for us to enjoy for years to come! She sang so effortlessly, her voice and tone is so smooth and perfect, and her range and control is unbelievable! I would say that without a doubt she's probably the best vocalist of all times even greater than some of the greats such as Elvis, Sinatra, Ray Charles, etc... She set the bar so high that you'd have to make it into Heaven to catch her!

@@miamidolphinsfan Don't get me wrong, Patsy Cline was very good. It's quite a shame she died young, it's actually a shame that both of their singing careers were cut short. Now on a personal note, there's just something about Connie Francis's voice that sets it apart from most others. There are a few others that were close such as Dolly Parton, Dusty Springfield, Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston, Carrie Underwood, Leona Lewis, etc... However, since the time of posting this I've come across a beautiful young lady who has a heavenly voice and she kind of reminds me of a younger modern version of Connie. Her name is Lucy Thomas. She also does duets with her younger sister and they are great together. I still think Lucy has the better voice of the two but yeah every time I hear her voice... well let's just say you might want to check her out. You can find her here on Y.T. if you're not already familiar with her. She's done quite a few covers of some great classics. Two of them so far is Hallelujah, and a duet with her sister What a Wonderful World from Ray Charles. She's amazing.

What a voice Connie Francis has! She had a lot of wonderful hits. I especially have fond memories of Lipstick on Your Collar because I was so young when it was released that I had to ask my Mom why lipstick on someone's collar was a problem. Now I can't imagine being that naive. LOL I like what you said about feeling as if you were in a daydream. That's exactly right; that's how she makes you feel. Singer Chris Isaak said a few years ago that he took his Mom to see Connie Francis and it was great. I'd love to see her live. That voice! I know I already said that, but it's exceptional. She did a gorgeous version of Senza Mamma from the opera Suor Angelica that you might want to check out. Not many pop singers do opera, but Connie Francis did.

You guys have done so many different artists way back in the day like Connie. Good for you! Connie really had one of the BEST voices back then. She was quite popular and is still alive today. I believe she's Italian and can sing in multiple languages. Sadly she had tragedy happen to her in 1974 which took her out of the spotlight due to the trauma of the incident. Then, she underwent nasal surgery in 1977 which caused her to lose her voice. She gained some of it back but lost most of its strength. Nonetheless, it's always great to hear that amazing voice from these early recordings!

I appreciate how you introduce this music to new generations and, maybe, re-introduce it to people like me who grew up with this music. You are my new "guilty pleasure" and just maybe, my new best friends. Doc

what a pure powerful voice. She was sexually assaulted as a young woman and it took awhile for her to come back from it but she had the guts to do it

That song was from the movie by the same name filmed in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1963 about the beginning of "Spring Break" !! I was 15 yo and watched it being filmed just hoping I would see Connie !! I LOVED HER !! Love you guys too !! One more verse and chorus and I think Shawn would start tearing up !!

When I was a kid I was in love with Connie. My favorite songs were 'Guess My Heart Has A Mind Of It's Own', and 'Everybody's Somebody's Fool'. 💘
