Hello! Half English, half South Korean girl here and I'm so happy to have found your channel recently. I don't speak Korean (but I'm trying to learn) and have only been to South Korea 3 times to visit family (the last time in 2009). They’re perfect for you, AND you totally looked like a model. You can rock any pair of sunglasses! You my sister, belong in magazine ads!! Thanks for sharing your very productive and fun day with us. Midoin looked amazing. I loved their tableware! Sarah and Kyuho, would you ever do a short video on Korean language? I’m only asking, because when you stepped into the van for Beemo’s appt, you (Sarah), greeted the driver. I live in a community filled with Korean restaurants, and visit often. I would love to greet my favorite waitstaff-who speak only Korean-in a respectful manner, as they are older than I am. The only thing I say after my meal is ‘mashisoyo.’ 😊 My dry cleaner is Korean as well…..I would love a lesson on proper pronunciation, for everyday greetings-good morning, good afternoon, good evening, thank you, etc….. 😊

I was ok with some lines, but the P.O. was a place I couldn't avoid and it was ALWAYS like that. X-mas was a nightmare....until I found the private ones where you paid a lot, but they would do everything, even wrap a gift and mail it out for you. For me, it was worth it!

I won't wait or queue outside a restaurant (even if michelin) if I'm told the waiting time is over 30mins. I eat to live rather than live to eat, so it's not something that's very important to me so long the food is not horrible. However for food kiosk if I know that they clear the queue fast (from experience patronising that stall) even if the line is a little bit longer, I might join. Generally I don't believe in waiting in a long queue for anything if it's not something that's very important to me.

I feel like the only way the long line wait for a while works during the work week is just taking a long lunch. Guess it depends on the company and how lax they are about stuff like that. Cause if not, yeah Sarah, you'd probably end up just having to take it to go or just wolf it and run. I'm the same way. Sure there are a million places on Yelp with these high ratings and people saying it's worth the wait, but at the end of the day, after a certain point, food is going to be good enough from another place where you don't have to wait forever. Not worth it to spend that much of your day wasting time just for a meal.

The lineup thing isn’t just a Korean culture, it’s in fact Asian culture, you’d probably see this in many Asian countries or even Asian neighbourhoods in North America. I live in Toronto and it’s not uncommon to see lineups at asian restaurants. I think another reason is that reservation isn’t as popular in asian culture as opposed in western. They have this mentality of “first come first serve” and although I can’t say for all Asian cultures, some restaurant owners like to have lineups so it creates a thinking that their restaurant is good and have many people, and that usually attracts even more people to go. Normal human thinking is that “wow, there’s a line up, it must be good” and that makes them not minding to wait long to just eat there. There are many restaurants in Hong Kong/Singapore/Taiwan that you lineup for 1 hr but only take you 10min to eat and they will give you the receipt right away so they can serve more people. But I am like Sarah, I wouldn’t lineup unless it’s under 15min. It’s not like I’d die by not eating at or trying out that restaurant, LOL.

Guys, i don't understand why you don't want a kids , you basically have one ,and i can' say you are amazing parents to Beemo ....
@2hearts1seoul Жыл бұрын
We simply have zero interest in being parents. And you’re right, with Beemo, we kind of do have a kid in a way-and with him, we realized a cat is our absolute limit. We’ve spent over $10,000 on his health condition over the last year or so and its been a roller coster of stress. So an actual human child that requires a lotttt more care, responsibility, money, and a larger space we can’t afford? Noooo thank you 😬
