Nice tunes in this video and the last. I gotta shout out the hex placements - epic.

What a great looking route! And it just eats gear! Nicely done, btw.

An absolutely perfect line. Nice to see that there're still a few young climbers (I'm 80 & still climbing) who recognize that you probably don't need a single cam on this brilliant route. Looks like a huge amount of fun. I haven't led anything harder than 5.6 in a few years, but I'd still go up on this one. Without a single piece of mechanical pro. Thanks for a really fun video.

I definitely would've felt safe without any cams on this route!

Really fun and far enough from LA that it's not too crowded either!

That’s a great crag for us beginner folk. I’ve gotta find one of those around my knock o the woods.

It's hard to find a good beginner trad route with good placements the whole way through that actually feels 5.7 or EASIER even!!

A semi functional gopro hero 8 that I mangled by dropping it from 60ft up so the screen doesn't even work 😆😬

Hello, what length of rope did you use to lower off of? I’ve always used two 60s but wanna know if it’s possible to lower off with a single 70
@TheUnremarkableClimber

No, I used an 80m. A 70m would be too short.

Almost every single cam placement was overcammed (or nearly so). And why were you just using tiny little cams like .25s, .5s, and .75s? Using that small stuff, coulda just used nuts (and hexes) for everything… There were plenty of places for something a bit bigger like 1s and 2s… Other than that, good climb.

I'd rather overcammed than undercammed and I didnt have any issue removing any of them. I could have used nuts and hexes but cams are quicker to place and remove and I had them so why not use them. Small cams are way lighter than 1s and 2s, so why bring more heavy cams when I can just use smaller ones?

I also wouldn't necessarily consider anything .4 or above tiny hahaha, I did use a couple smaller than that but most were bigger. Also, the more small cams I use the less they get in the way of my hands and feet.

If they come out no problem they weren’t over cammed
