I was 16 in 1977 when this song came out. Player was great, but like so many bands, they had only a hit or two. You picked their best and it's been 46 years ago now and it still sounds awesome! "Baby Come Back", is one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time. I can't hear it enough. The thing that so many of the songs had back in this era that I find lacking so much in today's music boils down to one word: PASSION! You can hear it in every single note played and sung in this song. When it's real, it touches your soul and this song most definitely touches peoples' souls. Awesome song!
