Romance languages have more sounds than English. So pronouncing and even learning new languages is easier. Ask an English speaker to do a nasal sound and he'll struggle a lot.

As italian and a Korean learner, I think that for us is easy to learn Korean pronunciation cuz basically we have similar sounds expacially for the vowels. Vowels sound are the same.

Mr. Z is possibly my absolute favourite guest on this show - and that's saying a lot, given the incredible guests they've had over the years - the insane respect and passion he has for food is unmatched by even Josh. He is so eager to learn about not only the food, but the culture that comes along with it. He's learnt even Korean greetings without Josh's help, prepared to greet the chef who is taking care of them! So lovely^^ So much respect for Mr. Z - such a character!

I just came from a food trip in another city and am so happy to watch this. Actually the trip was supposed to be focused on Japanese food. But after realizing how many Korean eateries have opened there and were run by actual Koreans, it was the only food I was interested in. This channel opened a whole new world to me. And to see Mr Z being as happy as I am, makes the joy last longer. Thank you for your work, KE man! ❤

Having re-watched this 6 months later it's almost insane how much Mr. Z understood Korean. Idk if there were cuts where you translated, but it's almost like he was completely understanding the chef. Especially at the end when he asked if y'all enjoyed the meal. Without hesitation he said, "I loved it."

Even though I'm vegan, this was really interesting to watch (I usually skip videos which are heavily concentrated on meat). Mr. Z's insightful description of each course really makes me see how cooking at that level is a form of art. So excited to see the rest of the trip!

I am so happy this series is happening! I love the calmness of it and the excellent way Z explains what he experiences when he eats. Most of the guests are entertaining and charming but don't quite let us into the flavor and experience of the food like this. Can't wait for more.

Some of the most meaningful episode ever! It's must be a challenge for Josh and the whole team because this is Top-tier Italian Chef who had served thousands of celebraties. But whole awesome background of Mr.Z just makes all of his applauses today become special more than any guess has ever made. His recognition for Korean food really hits me hard today.
