@nilsdemello907 if that's what they wanna do they should consider just slapping around some AI opponents. That's what I used to do in C&C tiberian sun way back in the day. I'd set the computer to turtle mode and then make a truly massive base and max out the tech tree. Then assemble a giant army to wipe out the enemy.

Like wasting resources or getting blocked doesn't do anything.

But to be honest, since I learned to cheese them too it's funny because they usually feel entitled to win by cheese or some stupid shit but when you do the unexpected they're salty af.

I am protoss and fell to a few Penguin Brothers (now I know what it's called), it is genuinely a great combo and difficult to overcome. Need mass immortal mixed with some stalks and usually you don't have enough robos before you figure it out. Hilarious to watch from the other side.

The global Cooldown of a battery Overcharge is 60s and an activation lasts 14 second... and activated on an empty battery it also leaves it fully rechared. Pretty usefull against armies that tanks good but dish out damage slowly. Counters a hydrolic press army. Doesn't counter a sledgehammer army, that dishes out all damage with it's first strike.

As somebody who only watches starcraft and do not play it, i wanted to ask. Why is there almost never casual early raven for destroying creep or catching observers etc. Is the cost that huge, that its not worth? even if we take into account saving the energy for mules and not scan?

Clem played for a while opening 6 Helions and a raven to clear creep. He wasn't really successful because he could pressure much better with other units that snowball.The cost of that was 650 mins and 200 gas. Or at least that is what I think it was.

In TvZ the 200 gas cost for a n early Raven delays the follow up pushes which force units out, and you really need to force Zerg to spend larvae on units instead of drones to limit their eco growth. If you open with a Raven you don't stop the Zerg eco growing you only stop the creep from spreading, so even though you might hit with more units at a later time, Zerg grows quicker than Terran so they have an easier time holding it when it comes.

Ravens aren't that strong to be worth spending the huge cost in early game, and they do not harrass as well as other units which helps the enemy get more ahead then they already are because of the money you lost making that raven

Terran players do make ravens. At least 2 in TvT and one in TvP to disable col if they do fast 2base push. They not as popular in TvZ as they often die to queens and matrix isn't very useful against the swarm, sometimes get one late game for the armor reduction especially good vs corruptor. They not needed to clear creep tho as T has unlimited scans anyway.

Terran is typically a very momentum-based race, if you spent time and money to get a raven you might clear creep but you wont kill any drones. If you don't do any real damage against Zerg you are usually just screwed :D
