In Korea, of course, it is considered rude to slurp noodles. The reason why slurping became popular in Korea is that it started with TV commercial for ramyeon, and meokbang(broadcasting eating show) spread a bad influence on young people. So slurping noodles is just a passing trend.

Of course I knew everyone in Shinan would say it was long time ago. The expose happened 10 years ago and there was a new incident just 3 years ago. You can tell the hypocritical reason that pastor is saying is one of the lies they often say. "Oh they were taking care of the mentally ill people."
