She's like me.. "Having the concentration-ability of a toddler " 🤣 I solemnly swear I'd do "The Important Mission" .... then hit 'R".. See "A Thing.." aaaand.. off I go on something completely different.. Hence, at almost 60 hours in the game, I only got a paltry 30- or 40 something percent of the main missions done... And I'm HAPPY about it!! Interesting to see how gloriously her head will explode next episode, when she does Natsai's long mission... (Those further in the game knów what I mean.. 😋 ) Oh, yeah.. and Furbys.. I do admit to a certain admiration for the sadism to come-up with that horror, supposed to be a 'toy'

I adore Poppy and relate so much to wanting to rescue and care for all the animals, but I also love Sirona’s character. She’s a wonderful addition to the story and I’m so glad they created her, then directly and respectfully addressed her history without trying to suggest it after the fact with little to no evidence in the content itself. Added to that, Stealth, once mastered, and Petrificus are absolutely OP. After only one upgrade, it becomes a bit of an area effect. I 'removed' complete clusters of poachers without firing even óne bolt of magic.

When I got to fly on Highwing I couldn't stop smiling like an idiot. That part made me go "This is fucking amazing..", which is an extrememly rare reaction from me to any game. It's honestly been so long I almost forgot about this feeling, this is why I love playing games, Hogwarts Legacy is hands down my favourite game since the PS1 Final Fantasies.

I've never seen a Hufflepuff cry so many tears of the most genuine joy in such a short span of time. Most wholesome episode, no doubt. Ah, I remember a couple students mockingly mentioned Poppy when you were running with Sebastian to Hogsmeade and the hippogryphs showed up. The name 'Highwing' has refreshed my memory. I await for the day you discover your transfiguration budget, i.e. that you can have seven different tables of each kind.

A neat trick with the Infirii, since you can't hurt them until you hit them with fire, you can use them to fill up your ancient magic to max. 32:00 It took me a good five minutes to realize that the spinner also raises the "Moth holder" at the end of the platform to get the third moth up to the door. 40:00 You thought it was treasure, but it's snot. 44:00 Get Mallowsweet seeds at the Neep store, and plant some in your ROR.

I'm a little embarrassed to say this but... The first time I saw Poppy I instantly developed a small crush on her. I had a small tear in my eye during the whole encounter. She really is as sweet as her name suggests. Definitely my favourite of all of the companions. I just knew that my character and Poppy would become the best of friends. BFF's if ever there was one.

Yeah. Watching Cherry Wallis play is like Neville Longbottom following directions from professor Snape - her situational awareness is almost zero. Miranda being competent and attentive keeps things flowing nicely instead of yelling at the screen that she missed something very obvious. And her wide-eyed wonder at all the cool things is a real joy to see.

xChaseMoney2 has a pretty good playthrough of this game. His was the first I watched, actually. (Miranda’s is my second.) He did a few smaller side things off camera, but I didn’t get the impression I missed out on much in that area. My only gripe is that not all of the companion characters’ quest endings made it into video. I think he had like one more thing to do with Sebastian, for example. Still, he was pretty damn thorough for the most part, and I really enjoyed his playthrough. I recommend it.

As far as the high socks with trousers clothing combos, you have to remember this game takes place in the late 1800s. That was just the style of the era. Also wizards and witches are known to dress more eccentrically than muggles.

The reason for Toby to see you when recording and/or playing games is your reactions can cause Toby to think you're in danger. It's a pack thing. He's just unsure what goes on, and it sounds like it's a common thing. Not sure how you can combat that but I know when I get into moments of rage, my dog comes to check on me.

That dark arts trail gate doesn’t actually teach you the spells, but, you do get to use them on wave after wave of enemies in an arena battle. ( it doesn’t effect the story or your characters morality at all it’s just there for the fun of it)

Lodgok is voiced by the incredible Greg Ellis, who has been a major feature in both acting and voice acting for years - he's the officer who, in Pirates of the Caribbean, said that Jack Sparrow might be the best pirate he's ever heard of (NOT Norrington). So after beast class I decided to follow Poppy to see were she would go, the companions often illegally apparate. She walked all the way to the Divination classroom, which was amazing because although I didnt have the quest set that was my next class I needed in my quest log.

You want to grow mandrakes in the small ones, cabbage in medium, and tentaculas in large. My setup is two 5-pot small (7 mandrakes, and one of each of mallowsweet, dittany, and the third one), two 3-pot mediums (5 cabbages, and 1 shrivelfig), and three 2-pot large (1 fluxweed and 5 tentaculas) - that way you can replenish your plants fairly quickly. Also - after glacius you want to use a high damage spell, like diffindo.

This playthrough continues to be a favorite of mine, when you were singing about that musical in the character outfit screen that was my first thought too and what is that outfit! I served in the Navy and that looks just like our dress blues 🤣 and I absolutely love Lodgok and Sirona, like every time we see her I wish we could tell her what's going on you know and it makes me wish the world was more alive, we can only interact with the NPC's if we have a mission and that really sucks like you bumped into that kid and even though they reacted you can't talk to them and you saw Amid there but you can't talk to him or introduce yourself to him, I mean Hogsmede is the hub world essentially right and you can't really interact with it as much as I'd like or even that much at all. I do like the variety of shops and all that though but I just want more and I wish I could use the utility spells outside of the specific rooms and stuff, like why can't I conjure a tent like in the movies when our trio is searching for the Horcruxes and were chased by poachers or assassins you know like why can't I conjure a tent that I can hold extra gear before I go into a dungeon or make potions and stuff on the fly 🥺 I hate how it breaks the immersion that if I need something I have to encounter a loading screen and multiple of them before continuing on it really breaks the immersion of the world by having to constantly juggle items and inventory space, we live in this amazing magical world and you're telling I can't conjure a tent 😕 that's a huge bummer! Why do we need to sleep on the ground, we see Isadora literally conjuring spires and all that transfiguring the physical world and we can't do that?? Cmon! I'm enjoying the game but it feels almost not quite there, maybe I just expected too much but there are so many quality of life fixes I feel they could have implemented you know, I'm very happy with we got but I feel there's just some polish and general things that don't quite fit that could have been implemented.

You can put down a total of 7 potting tables. The best are 5 small pots, 3 medium pots, and 2 large pots. So, you COULD put down 7 tables with 2 large pots each, for a total of 14 large pots, OR you could put down a mix of tables. There are 4 plants that can fit in small pots, 2 plants that can fit in medium pots, and 2 plants that can only fit in large pots. My recommendation would be 3 large potting tables, and 2 each medium and small potting tables.

Christmas time in Hogsmead is amazing looking. That door you don't know is for a mission on Playstation, xbox and pc have to wait a year for it, you'll be able to own a shop in town and sell your products there. I've completed it on my PS5.

I think I'd have better luck trying to complete a list of things the game left out from the movies than I would detailing everything they included, since it's pretty much EVERYTHING. Respect! As for game length - I've played way too many that outlasted their welcome after awhile. This game is the right length, but does such a good job of immersion that it feels way too short, even with all the side stuff. To me - THAT is the magic. I don't see how any developer wouldn't be busy right now while their property is on top.

The door in hogsmeed that you couldn’t get in, is currently a exclusive quest. It will become available to you at a later date. It will be a shop that you run with the help of a house elf. You can sell your items for more gold then if you sell them at the other stores.

The game tells you how many of each type of conjuration you can make. Such as, 7 potting tables. Meaning, in lategame, you could for example be growing 10 mandrake, 12 chomping cabbages, and 4 venomous tentaculars at the same time. Yes, I have a cabbage mage. XD

Cursed cabbage build is fun - flippendo, arresto momentum, expeliarmus to curse (with dark art talents, also curse with stupefy), then just drop a couple of cabbages, and mandrakes/tentaculas.

@@jakubfabisiak9810 Interesting ... I went with full herbology traits and just drop cabbages from stealth. No need for curses with endgame gear, they just delete everything.

@@Danceofmasks you can go from stealth, or use crowd control spells, especially with maxima potions, or the curse-transformation trick (where you curse a bunch of enemies, then transform one into an explosive barrel, and the talent that makes all cursed enemies take damage when either is hit just one-shots the lot when you chuck the transformed one). Or just melt them with a mandrake, and curse + maxima + glacius-diffindo is massive damage even without diffindo traits.

I have nothing against curses, after all even the great Harry Potter used both Crucio and Imperio ... it's just not practical without putting Unforgivable 3 enchantments on your equipment. Without it, curse only adds 5% damage. On my main, I went full Incendio build, because the cooldown is only 8s so it can be used for a main attack, and simply casting it hits so hard it even deletes trolls and executioners after triggering their stunned state.

as far as the outfits go, keep in mind this game is set in the 1890s... fashion then isn't what it is today :)

Maybe a tip or two: 1) Save your talent points until level 22 when they open up fully. 2) When you get a chance to leave Hogwarts and explore, find all the Flu Flame travel Points and level that way with battles along the way. 3) Learn the Merlin trials and Lock picking. Sell your unused items for coin until you get the loom and animal bag. Learn about the F key to change your appearence .

Okay, so I know I'm really late, but I figured out how to use photo mode in Hogwarts Legacy! If you open your field guide, move your cursor over the *settings* icon, and then press *Y* _(I'm on Nintendo Switch, I think it's _*_square_*_ on PlayStation),_ it will open a UI that you can maneuver to change settings like *camera tilt, exposure, etc.* Then, when you're ready to take the picture, hide the UI by pressing *Y* (or *square*) and take a screenshot!
