Never understood Luke's lightsaber. Of course it's iconic but that control box is so impractical for dueling. I just can't imagine anyone depending on a weapon for their life creating something like that. Vader's had that as well. I think the prequels had much better hilts.

I personally don't think anyone should take offense to being called a nerd these days though, it's basically one of the most weakest things you can call a person because EVERYONE is a nerd about something these days. @@OneTrueNobodyit’s just a fact. If you can’t hear the difference between Luke’s saber and others, then you simply aren’t listening. His has a high pitched hiss to it. The only other times I can think of that ignition sound being used was one time in Attack of the Clones for Count Dooku. And I think they used it for Rey at least once in The Rise of Skywalker 🙄.

I'm guessing this is an SN-Pixel v4, maybe a TXQ build, judging from what I'm seeing. I have a Jedi Revan saber by TXQ that has the exact same system voice and feature set as this one does. Really impressive stuff, especially for the price I got it for.

Oh yeah....I almost forgot to ask (I was so palpably stoked by your review of this ROTJ saber): Have you and yours re-enacted the final saber clash in ROTJ? The "Death Star v2.0 bring-your-kid-to-work" scene? I know it's not very flashy or choreography/finesse heavy, but the atmosphere and the music get my voice all warbley everytime. I see you guys letting some actual acting skills slip through in a lot of your re-enactments - and I get the feeling you're holding back quite a bit - so, yeah....I think that'd be bad-assed. It is nice but its not accurate to the movie all that much. Kr sabers or verocity labs custom shops go way beyond the all access saber companies. But thats only if you go for total accuracy
