Salazzle is op for eternatus. They jave corrosiom ability, letting them toxic poisen steel amd ppisen types. In this game, Boss jave multiple Hp bars, so % dmg mover are op amd needed in every run. Leech seed, poisen, burn, salt cure, etc

my first win was carried by the worlds funniest ferrothorn (strength sap, iron defense, sappy seed and thorny protect) as well as corviknight and some other very cheesy pokemon, and lemme tell you seeing emax eternatus get leech seeded and then somehow forget he had flamethrower as corviknight just plucked the berries he stole back from him was the funniest thing ever

I swept the game with red shiny noctowl (surprisingly bulky and cheesy with hypnosis and dream eater) iron crown with electro drift (egg move) quackquavel (is that how you spell it) deleting anything crown couldn't handle with wave crash and close combat and backup trop kick

My first pokerouge run was the one i won. I used skeledirge, meowscarada and primarina as my starters. Picking up a staraptor, excadrill and indeedee along the way. Indeedee was surprisingly helpful with healing wish so i could heal my main members mid fight which is huge. Staraptor didnt really do much, eas just there for earthquake immunity furing double battles but by god did the starter trio put in work through the entire run. Skele early on(1-80ish), meow in the mid games(70-130ish) and prima in the ned game(120-200)

Nah I beat classic mode BECAUSE of save scumming. Keep reading this reply if you got time, because I gotta explain how I realized save scumming made me win. For example, if the trainer you encounter critical hits somewhere In the fight, if you save scum back to the start of the fight and do EXACTLY what you did last time in the same order, everything will be the same. Your Pokemon will do the same amount of damage and the trainer will crit at the same time it did the first time. So eventually, If I save scum and experiment enough, I can learn which Pokemon they switch into when I have a certain Pokemon out, and I’ll know what moves the will use or if they will crit or not. So if I save scum for enough time and gather info, I can make a perfect plan to counter whatever they will do, since I know exactly what they will do or if they will crit, and I can counter that. One time I did this, and with only a skeledirge, I sweeped an electric type gym leader with 6 Pokemon!

At this point in the game I'm just ribbon grinding for eggs. So I'm save scumming until I complete the Pokedex (around 95% finished) not that I use it that much.

For my first ever pokerouge team i had Blaziken, Venusaur, Swampert, Loxix, Pawmot and Grafaiai. Leech seed on venusaur carried for Eternatus and Loxix was OP

My first classic run was... pretty neat, i think, my main carry was a copperajah who abused iron defense body press with double leftovers to sweep anyone who didn't have a special attacker, with the main supporting cast on my team being garganacl for stealth rocks and salt cure, as well as a Vileplume for more agressive setup sweeps, and leech seed, i had a linoone in the back with pickup to farm berries and other items as well, my last two party members being a pikachu who was abusing the lets go moves, and a Mimikyu who had a basic swords dance set. overall im proud of not having any legendaries or mythicals on my first win's final team :)

I beat classic mode with Delphox, Swampert, Venusaur, Wigglytuff (useless), Weavile, and my goated girl Corviknight. Only needed Delphox,(cause super effective and light screen) and Corviknight (Impish nature G-Max, and pluck) to beat Eternatus

yeah, nihelego, blacephalon, naganadel are all very good options for early game, however later on their use is lower, as eternatus has much higher special attack also my first victory run had shiny epic parsect and shiny slowking fused, nihilego, glaceon, mega ballade, archaludon, fezendipiti, my goal was to get a powerful Pokemon to be able to withstand both types of eternatus's moves but I didn't find one, luckily mega adamant gallade with psycho cut is strong

Skeledirge and Ursaluna carried me for my first win, but not as hard as my shiny dustox, first and only shiny I had for a while and they were actually surprisingly helpful with quiver dance and its egg move baton pass, it even tanked an eterna beam and I am eternally thankful for that.

I wiped the entire 200 floors with Kartana, using Ceaseless Edge (Drops spikes and deals alot of damage) and Beast Boost, and for healing I used Bitter Blade, wich deals alot of damage and heals you for an x amount of your dealt damage 🤩

it took like i think 30 tries for me to finish classic but used a Skeledirge, Mega Alakazam (the carry), Magnetic (DNA Slicer Magnezone with Milotic), Meowscarada, Scream Tail, Dodrio and cant remember the last mon. Eternatus threw with attacking my second slot instead of my Alakazam so it was fine

I didn’t use steel fairy. Mega metagross: the goat took out an entire eternity’s bar with each psychic fang (egg move, also got recover) Aegislash: the runner up. Had bitter blade or whatever the fire type leech life is called which was insane. Venamoth: originally brought as a shiny for shiny luck, ended as a special sweeper (got the kill on eternity’s with critical earth power.) Pawmi or whatever it’s called: electric fighting coverage and the ressurection move saved me so much money. Also parahax. Amoongus: was brought along to try to spore eternity’s and clear smog the stat changes, was mostly a bulky drainer. Kingler: if I deploy a water type, they send a grass type. This crab knows icicle smash.

Beaten this game 3 times. The Pokemon that carried my team: 1st run. I had a Gholdengo with Nasty Plot, Shadow Ball, Make It Rain and Recover 2nd run.. I had a GMax Toxtricity with Baneful Bunker, Overdrive, Boomburst and Acid Spray. 3rd run. I have a Reshiram that was fused with Duralundons evolution (don't remember name) that had Fusion Flare, Dragon Pulse, Flash Cannon and Give Heart (give heart being the egg move. Currently working on my 4th clear with Zekrom carrying the team.

There's no shame in save scumming, some people would even cheated Egg Voucher to skip grinding and some would download save data. Personally, save scumming to save more time, since i'm grinding for the ribbons and vouchers. I would perma-ban pokemon with ribbons to make the run more interesting, because Fairy/Metal type is too op.

i did not use a steel fairy. i used lugia with calm mind and the special move from yveltal. ivy wanted to kill it with special dark attacks but after 6 calm minds lugia was way to tanky
