12:12 As cool as it'd be in the new games it's annoying because it deletes the catch date info. I had a legitimate Manaphy from 2007 pokemon ranger I transferred up like a month ago and all the catch data deleted and it just says " a place far away" or something. Definitely worth keeping on the OG game

You can also focus on them to see if you got them. When you haven't caught them before the pokemon won't have a poke ball icon. However if you have they will have the poke ball icon when you approach. I use this method when I'm unsure if I've already caught something.

You catch every pokemon in the game and then trade for the other games exclusive pokemon So if you have scarlet you trade for the violet exclusives and if you have violet you trade for the scarlet exclusives
