yeah but the hit detection is fucking dogshit, idk how many times the axes hit random projectiles (sometimes literally nothing) so 2/3 don't even hit your target...like I'll throw it and 2 axes will just be sitting right in my face

funny you say that, I used to be a titan main for a very long time and switched to hunter for a few years, it is such a fun class. but I have actually gone back to my OG titan again! you do not have to just play punchy punchy if you don’t want to. matter of fact with prismatic and the new exotic rocket chest plate you can be a devastating rocketing menace from afar. they also now have the best support super with ursa since well was nerfed into the ground. wish you the best on hunter tho! such a fun class also:) get you some lucky pants and also get the wardens law from the nightfall if you haven’t already got it!

There shouldn't be a bonk class, since bonk doesn't fly in HL PvE which this game is all about. In D1Y1 I chose Titan because it was the best at group support with WoL (and stayed for the class identity aka I'm Zavala's boy).

I've mained bubble titan since D1 so bummed about not really being able to run it anymore. Prismatic is pretty much mandatory atm in higher difficulty stuff due to the free damage increase and fancy grenades. I hope they add the other supers to prismatic eventually 😢 my helm of saint 14 sitting there all lonely

@@user-mo4mq5jy7eat first I was also upset about everyone complaining about Titan. But hear me out: If everyone keeps complaining they’ll just make Titan stronger! And since it’s already strong… People just don’t want to run around meleeing everything, and I get it. I do think bubble should get a buff and also be moved to prismatic. Maybe add to the super that it moves with the caster? Or make an exotic that allows it to move with the caster? The overshield also needs improvements imo.

i feel like with swordbreaker, "threaded blast" might have some use from the artifact mod, you can use the regular frenzy blade melee to make a tangle and then shoot it with your swordbreaker to deal a good amount of aoe damage while also building up the darkness meter for prismatic a bit more if needed (certainly more useful than "creeping chill" when you have no stasis weapons)

I cooked up basically the same build but I've much preferred the reworked wormgod over syntho lately. The damage potential and uptime are higher for it now making it a bit easier to use and you can hit upper 6-700k's. The reason why wormgod works a bit better is due to how stacks slowly fall off. If you get the maximum stacks (5 melees) you have the same damage bonus if not higher than syntho from tier 3 up. This means that you get 4s (tier 3) + 4s (tier 4) + 3s (tier 5) + 2s (delay timer) for a total of 13s of the equivalent or higher damage than syntho for almost 3 times the duration when you don't have more enemies nearby. Even if you have the bare minimum for syntho (3 enemies) and you go on cooldown (5s), you'd get more damage for longer by killing those enemies with wormgod leading to better damage overall. You could of course keep 2 additional targets alive, but it's difficult and also not likely to occur everywhere in the game - especially when playing with other guardians. The only ease of use that syntho provides at this point is getting the damage bonus immediately instead of punching a couple of times first.

This build works pretty well with feedback fence too since it gives armor charge, with the charge I use the class item mod that gives melee back on finisher for more consecration.

Thank you for this Kodiak! Made a similar build however I'm using Arc instead as my powered melee. Wicked Implement allowing me to create stasis lance with gacial harvest then seeing a group of ads, throw lance towards them with big explosions happening. Using Threaded Tangles as well to use my Thunderclap, but for my powered melee being Arc I'm able to stay alive similar to your Void build. I made my build inspired by yours only tweaking it a bit for my play style and works so good. I'm also using Severence Enclosure since it got a buff in The Final Shape.

For weapon im thinking burried bloodline with catalyst, so after first kill you proc devour, then each shot weakens, and using artifact mods void hegemony and another in the final colomn which increases damage to weakend enemies with void weapons.

The prismatic concept is cool, but it feels a bit lacklustered to me on my titan. I tried this build, (synthoceps & pyrogale) the chest peice with the rocket, and the thunderclap.. ehhh. Doesn't seem to call to me

I like the new super better for team DPS scenarios when we need a weaken and no one wants to run TC. Also void surge. Strand is my go to for ad clear on Titan. Or the throwing hammers.

The thing with prismatic vs solar though: your defense suffers a lot without restoration. I want to like prismatic, but the play style of constantly being on the brink of death is so boring. I really hope the exotic class item can turn things around and most of prismatic is balanced around that, thus feeling lacklustre

I use knockout and unbreakable with thruster,shield throw and the solar nade. Pretty much nothing else is changed besides using a fragment that gives faster class ability charge.

Disagree on best titan build , i prefer thunder clapping cheeks and diamond lance is very slept on. You should try point contact or synthos with knockout and diamond lance with shackle nades. Super strong

Titan prismatic belongs in the vault if that were possible. Total let down. When prismatic is so bad you dont even do the campaign with it you know there is a problem. But bungie wont do anything to change it but buff what it already has... which is the problem in the first place...it has crap aspects and its just the same old thing we already do but more of it but without the supporting stuff like banner or resto etc.

@@alaskayoung3413 point cannon with diamond lance and knockout is crazy strong. Run shackle nades and either the new super or strand super. Can't think of the frags off the top but the one where enemies afflicted by darkness take bonus light dmg. Throw your lance or shackle a group even without your clap charged your knockout will count as light dmg doing great damage. I use point cannon but switched to synthos in the challenge mode raid. Then your mods you just build into keeping your melee up. Then I would suggest running a voltshot rocket sidearm to keep amplified and for whatever reason it'll sometimes drop lances. The other build I've been using is the new rocket chest piece with with thrusters and double rocket sidearms and gally or grand overture and that's done really well too. You do have to switch to an aggressive Playstyle to keep your health up . Also make sure your melees make orbs and you run the frag that begins health regen. Also buff your tangles in the artifact and give yourself armor when amplified
